The open space living kitchen diner with huge windows the whole house is bright and comfortable ✨️ the hot tub is really good fun the weather on our break we could have been anywhere the views are lovely.

We loved everything

The property had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with every cooking utensil, pots and pans and crockery you could possibly need. There were essentials provided like tea, coffee,milk, oil etc which was handy. We stayed with 4 teenagers and found the property was easily big enough for everyone to have their own space. Plenty of tvs which meant there was no arguments over what we watched. The annex was lovely if you want a bit of privacy or quiet from the rest of the family. The owners were there if we needed anything but otherwise stayed out the way and left us to get on with it. The kids loved the hot tub and the wife loved the sauna. Location was perfect for mountain biking in the many forests close by and for exploring the coast which was a short drive. It would be a perfect location for a golf break with southerness very close by and not far from the Ayr coast.

What a beautiful place! We stayed here with our family aging from 2-79 and everyone was more than pleased with the place. Sadly the weather didn’t play up but that didn’t stop us enjoying the amenities. There is a lovely outdoor farm nearby (Ernespie Farm) with a huge soft play indoors & beautiful cafe. The place was cleaned to such a high standard & was just a joy to stay in. We will definitely be back & I have already recommended this place to all my friends! 🤣

This was our second trip to the cottage and we are definitely going to make it an annual trip going forward. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the hot tub is excellent and the kitchen is fantastic! Never any fights for showers etc as there are plenty of options.

It was not the first time we spent a weekend in Brigston cottage. It’s the place difficult to leave. Everything was immaculate as a year ago. God bless the landlords of this house.

Weather was aweful but it is winter!!! Didn't spoil our stay.

Very well equipped, clean and warm cottage with added little complimentary extras. Communication good with hosts leading up to visit. Hot tub and sauna well maintained. Garden good size with lovely views and secluded. Extension lovely with floor to ceiling windows. Underfloor heating very nice and cosy.

The house was absolutely incredible. It had a lovely welcome pack of crisps, baked goods and milk. The setting was so peaceful and the owners had thought of everything you may need on a stay away. The hot tub was excellent and we loved sitting out by the fire on a clear night. The annex was an excellent addition and very private. The house was immaculate. We would return in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved everything about this property. The owners/hosts have been thoughtful and thorough in their planning of the accommodation. The cottage and annexe are beautifully furnished and equipped, the hot tub is probably the best we've ever used and the sauna looks great although we did not use it.

We went here for my father’s eighth birthday and there were three generations all together. The place could not have been any better from the views, hot tub, sauna, comfortable rooms to the small touches like snacks, milk and orange juice in the fridge and robes for everyone. Everything was exceptional.

Very cosy, perfectly furnished cottage with everything included - towels, bathrobes(!!!), fully equipped kitchen, welcome sweets, firewood for the fireplace and sauna. Very clean and comfortable. We even had an opportunity to checkout later!

We conquered the coffee maker eventually it would have been easier if the instructions were easily available. There wasnt really anything not to like.

The house was spacious, beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. It had my favourite toiletries towels and bathrobes for using the hot tub. Our party had a dip in the hot tub which was 20 minutes of great fun. Every room had tasteful touches. The views from the sitting room are lovely and we saw red kites and fieldfares in abundance.

Tricky to locate on sat nav. Otherwise nothing negative at all.

Beautiful quaint cottage with modern annex. Lounge area, 2 double bedrooms (one with en suite) and a twin room plus house bathroom. Double room with bathroom and small living area in the annex. Plenty of living space and extremely well equipped. Open plan kitchen/dining area with modern kitchen and plentiful seating. Spacious garden with hot tub and BBQ backing on to fields. Quiet location. Ample parking. Great communication from owner and easy access via keypad. Owner had left some treats, milk, crisps and Prosecco which was really lovely to arrive to. Lots of board games and garden games. Good TV signal. Hairdryer in each bedroom. We liked everything and it was perfect for a family get together.
