Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThe noise from the passing trains, where we live we don’t have any traffic noise so it took a couple of nights for us to get used to it

United KingdomThe bedrooms were extremely comfortable but they do face the railway line so there is train noise if you have your windows open. Also, the blinds don't do a lot to keep the light out, so if you're a light sleeper ear plugs and an eye mask would be a good thing. The other thing which might be an issue for some people is that the duvets were very light. I loved this, as I much prefer a light duvet, but if you're a chilly mortal you might want to bring cosy pyjamas.
A really spacious and comfortable apartment that's very well equipped. You could easily stay here for a week. It's brilliantly placed right in the centre of Finnieston on the main road, where there are loads of lovely restaurants, bars and cafes. An easy walk into the centre or lots of buses, a ten minute journey and very cheap. Five minutes from the station. It felt like a very safe place to stay in a really lovely area. Super convenient for the Kelvingrove Museum, the Hunterian and the Botanical Gardens. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped so it would be brilliant for self-catering, although as we were only there for a couple of nights, we mainly ate out.

United KingdomFelt the apartment was a bit run down hence why the curtains had fallen off the wall. When we arrived it was already hanging half off the ceiling
the location was ideal and the host helpful when we couldn't get our keys as another customer had taken them. Also helpful when we came home to a curtain pole and curtains on the floor. This was fixed within a few hours of reporting

SwitzerlandThe floor is very loud when you walk but we would definitively book again.
The location is perfect and we loved the open view from the apartment! 20 min. from de airport, 3 min. to the bus station. Good restaurants and pubs in the same street. Anthony was very helpful and responded fast to our needs. The apartment is very nice decorated and the kitchen has everything you need. Supermarkets are also very close.

United KingdomAccommodation chosen for the parking. Unfortunately I should have expressly stated I wanted to use the parking space. As it was there was no information or help to get into the car park on arrival. In fact, the fob had not been left in the hiding place by the cleaners. Took multiple calls to sort out. Not what I needed after driving 400 miles. The tv in the bedroom is a nice touch. Would have been even better if the remote had batteries in it to enable the tv to be used. Despite making contact with the host to rectify, there was no response. Poor quality curtains in the lounge were a shame and detracted from what is a nice room.
The location was excellent as we were there to help my daughter move out of her university accommodation just down the road. It is a nice size and the views are wonderful. Kitchen has everything you need. Showers are wonderful. We had no noise disturbances whatsoever.

AustraliaThe only very minor thing is that the floor boards were very very creaky.
On a month long trip with my family, this was our favourite accommodation. The location was great, the apartment was comfortable with all the amenities we needed, and the view was amazing. We felt so at home here and were sad to leave!

United KingdomEverything was perfect for a short stay and I’m only mentioning these things to help the owner improve further on a fabulous place. . It would be worth having baking trays for cooking in the apartment. Also the blinds need fixing as we had to manually roll them up in a morning but this really wasn’t a big deal. Also a key to lock the back door…but still felt safe as in the 4th floor but if a lone female I would want to be able to lock this. And lastly working WiFi. Even with the above though, I was really happy in this apartment. It was warm, comfortable and overall really lovely. I would definitely return!
Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location. Easy access to the SEC as well as shops, restaurants and bars! Comfortable apartment and comfortable beds! Clean and tidy. Really enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomThe only thing that was a nuisance but is a big thing to try to fix, was the creaking floor. It runs through the apartment so not great if you’re sensitive to noise. Wouldn’t stop me from booking again though.
The location is excellent and there are lots of eating spots close by. Parking at the rear of the property is fantastic and secure. The apartment looks lovely and has everything you need.

United KingdomThe communal areas were quite tatty outside the flat eg stairs and corridors and the lift was broken throughout my 4 day stay. Though no fault of the flat owner but the flat was on the 4th floor so not good for anyone with mobility issues if the lift breaks down again. There was a fresh pint of milk left helpfully in the fridge, though no tea bags or coffee .
Excellent location for the secc hydro etc and also on a road with lots of good restaurants. Was at a conference there and it was a 10 minute walk. Didn't get a chance to go to the city centre but not far from there either. Very good communication with staff looking after the place. Sheets and towels clean as was the bathroom. Large , airy flat.

United KingdomAlthough the property's decor and furnishings are nice. It is in need of some TLC, with some repairs and general maintenance. There is a huge crack in the main balcony window, the pully's for some of the blinds are broken. The handle and latch are missing from the sitting room door. The lock on the toilet doesn't work and the toilet seat is loose. There is a tear in carpet in the double bedroom. The lock on the door to the property seems a bit inadequate for security of the flat.
The property was a good size, with decent facilities. In a good location with nice city views. There was seating on the balcony area, with a lovely view of the city rooftops and the stars. Although you're in a busy city, it's nice and quiet inside the property.
