View from the garden view room is beautiful. I loved the location of the property, it was clean and well stocked. The considerate hosts considered everything you could need and went above and beyond. They helped me by dropping me into Aberdeen after my flight was cancelled to catch a train. I couldn’t have asked for more thoughtful and generous people.

The host is extremely thoughtful. The decoration is very new and the layout is done with great care, with lots of attention to detail. For example, there is a convenient walk-in closet and the hot water works perfectly. The host is also very generous, providing various food, drinks, and little snacks. Even the small welcome card with a Scottish highland cow design was lovely. In the morning, opening the window to see the rolled-up haystacks in the fields outside was such a peaceful and heartwarming view.

There was nothing we didn't like - it was perfect.

This was the BEST bed and breakfast we've stayed at, by a long shot. It was spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities and so many extras. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, there was an awesome rain shower, and the host provided everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was delicious . The host was friendly and accommodating and we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area. 5 stars from us.

Not always a fan of shared bathrooms but I was the only one staying at the accomodation the night I did so it made for no difference to my stay - incredible value for money so wouldn't let it put you off.

A fantastic find when looking for somewhere when travelling for work. Great accomodation with amazing hosts. When I arrived at check-in I was shown around the apartment and everything it has to offer and then invited to join the hosts and their friends for something to eat and drink in the garden. Comfortable bed with loads of options of blankets / duvets / hot water bottles etc to get that perfect night sleep - you'll never be too cold or too hot! The brekafast hamper in the morning was a fantastic surprise too - the warm croissants went down a treat! Would definetly return! An all round great experience.

Everything! The room(s) we had were immaculate! There was a dressing room, large bathroom, bedroom and sitting area, all with lovely views. The hosts had thought of everything, the kitchen was full of useful equipment, the fridge was stocked with eggs, milk and juice. We were also presented with the most amazing hamper in the morning with croissants, butter and a selection of jams. There was yoghurts along with ham and cheese for our lunch. We were totally spoilt. Highly recommend this place!

Everything. I was late to arrive but felicity and Rory met me on the driveway and still showed me around. This place was way more than I expected. I was here 3 nights and it's the best three nights sleep ever. Such a caring couple to have as hosts for my time away I couldn't of asked for more. I had started recommending this place on my first night.

This is a lovely cosy and clean apartment. The hosts will look after your every need and you'll feel well rested and looked after. Has everything you need - I could have stayed much longer. Really peaceful location but not far from local amenities in Alford.

The b&b was fantastic! It was not just a room; it was almost a whole apartment with everything we needed (including a separate dressing room, kitchen appliances, a bathroom with rain shower, usb plugs)! The location is great; the view from there is nice and peaceful, and the garden is just beautiful! The warm welcome from the very nice hosts and the decoration details (books, funny wall decor, Scottish decor, a box on the bed with anything we could need for a shower and a good sleep) made us feel at home in Scotland! A small fridge with orange juice and milk was offered, as well as a big variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies/sweets.. just for us! The breakfast was brought to us in the apartment in the morning in a cute box, and it included all possible things one can find in a continental buffet (toast bread, butter croissants, chocolate croissants, fruit salad, butter, honey, jams, cheese, ham..)! We thank you so much for this experience! We will come back every time we visit Scotland :)
