Very small room, with 2 suitcases you can barley move in there and very noisey from people upstairs(unintentionally) would definitely recommend ear plugs

Not a lot of fresh air available.

Didn't know what to expect. The room was very compact but surprised that it had a toilet in it. All we needed was a bed for a night so met our needs. Was nice and close to city centre to meet our tour . The bowl of cornflakes a bonus 😊

Was disappointed we didn't have a toilet as we'd had 5 days earlier at same place. Was lucky only had minimal luggage as was very tiny room.

It was noisy into the early hours of the morning but we should have expected this due to festival time.

Location was great for exploring Old Town of Edinburgh.

There was no airflow, no windows, no fan. It was downstairs and felt like a dungeon. The mattress and pillow were not comfortable.

Pretty good location and the wifi worked. It was clean enough.

Room 5- basement room with no window. Felt very warm, more ventilation or an extra fan is needed to be comfortable.

There are very few bargains nowadays and this was one. A superb location right in the heart of everything. Facilities were great for the price too. A really good place for an overnight stay.

Very central location, well equipped kitchen, free breakfast available until 9am. The room was okay, beds were comfy. Just the private bathroom did not have a shower, only toilet. In evening it can get noisy so we were using earplugs. But if you want to stay central and affordable, this is the way ;)

Narrow winding stair going down, one tiny window so stuffy. Not luxurious, but a good value, centrally located.

Considering what a bargain the price is, I was skeptical but went with it since many places were already booked. It turned out to be better than expected. The location is close to many things, but be aware it’s down on the lower level, almost under a bridge so getting to it wheeling a suitcase on cobblestones was not easy. Upon entering, my room was 2 of 6 that were down a narrow winding staircase so it was subterranean which got stuffy at times. But I was across from the kitchen where we were supplied with breakfast fixings. The room was small but the whole place was very clean.

No. 1 by the road can be noisy until late at night. People gather outside to use WiFi and talk loudly until late.

Ideal for a short stay. Good location in the old town area with short walk to Edinburgh Waverley. Check in info excellent and went smoothly. Shared areas (kitchen/bathroom) clean and tidy. Have stayed there twice and would be happy to do so again.

Lovely, really cute, good location, self check-in, look in your e-mails I was a bit confused at first and knocked at the door quite a bit haha. Cute that your name is on the keys and on the door. The only downside is there having no reception you cannot leave any luggage if your train is a few hours after check-out. Once you're out you're out. That will be my main reason for not coming back here. I had to store my luggage at the train station and pay an extra 10 pounds.. But if you're train or flight is directly after check-out time, definitely stay there!

The street was very loud from 10pm till 1am as right in amongst the student bars. All four rooms were booked meaning the single bathroom was often occupied and we had to queue to use to get ready in the morning
