The parking right infront of the hotel is very nice expensive between 8:30-6 pm. Parking farther away is rather inconvenient

Location is amazing, the room is nicely equipped with everything you need. The cafe downstairs is quite enjoyable.

We had a room for 3 adults. Located in basement, but outside garden view. Was warm and any needs were met by a very friendly reception staff. Location brilliant with easy walking to all sights. Would highly recommend Eden Locke for your Edinburgh experience. 10/10

Amazing stay at Eden Locke. The staff are fabulous. So friendly. The location can’t be beat. The little suites are cozy and set up well. Everything was spotless.

The apartment was always very hot, but a dyson fan was provided.

Beautiful accommodation in a great location. Staff were most welcoming and helpful. We had an apartment containing anything you might need. The white noise machine was an unusual touch. Tempted to buy one now for home. Very impressed.

Our room window looked out on the back of the property (which wasn’t a problem as we weren’t there for the view!) but there is a club next door which was noisy enough on a Thursday night - could be louder at the weekends. Didn’t hear much when window was closed. Price wise it was alright - some similar properties on Royal Mile for similar prices though.

Apartment had everything you’d need for a short stay. Location pretty good for exploring. Cafe below looked lovely - also smelled amazing.

Amazing location, very friendly staff. Lots of great extras in our room including air conditioning (which we’d requested), fan, white noise machine, washing machine. Good value considering we were there for the Fringe. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in Edinburgh. Noise really not bad at all with the windows closed and we’re usually quite sensitive to it.

Not next to a nightclub but there isn’t anything the proprietor can do about that.

The location was great the centre of Edinburgh however there is a nightclub next door hence why they provided ear plugs. It had all the things you needed such as a washing machine and ironing board, but only enough crockery and cutlery for two people, it was compact but a great use of the space available.

The front reception is very small and in the main cafe area of hotel which is very loud during check in but staff was friendly and will hold luggage with check in being 4pm

Large one bedroom unit that had a well equipped kitchenette for a short or extended stay. Newer finishing, nice bathroom , comfortable bed and small couch with 2 TVs. Location is good just outside old town but with plenty of restaurants, cafes in short walking distance. Staff was friendly

They use quite a scented fragrance in the reception/ cafe downstairs and as I have allergies it caused me some discomfort walking through. No scent in bedrooms though but something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to heavy fragrances.

Everything about our stay at Eden Locke was excellent. The staff, the rooms, the location. It was the perfect place for us to kick off our trip when we got to Scotland. The room was great, spacious with a lovely kitchen space, washer/dryer combo and really comfortable bed. Loved the coffee shop downstairs as well and the location. A little quieter then staying closer to the royal mile but so easy to walk to anything we needed. We absolutely loved the area we were in and, with a little one, was perfect to have it be a little less crowded. But the staff are really what made this spot special. Everyone we interacted with went above and beyond to help us, give us recommendations and make our stay feel special. The bag storage was so helpful for us as well on either end of our stay too. We felt welcomed and so looked after and would absolutely return next time we are in the area!

There was no A/C unfortunately, but the room was equipped with dyson fan which helped!

Rooms were very spacious with large washroom, living/kitchen area and sleeping area. The atmosphere and design was really nice and homey. Very comfortable beds. Room was very quiet, which we appreciated. Staff were very friendly, caring and helpful.
