TV was fitted to the wall at the side of the bed instead of at the foot of the bed, which means you can get a bit of a stiff neck if watching it in bed.

Happy friendly/helpful staff. Perfectly situated, everything in walking distance, free parking. Free drink offered if you don't need room cleaning service that day.

The only thing was it was very very hot in our room, but they did provide a fan which helped.

Beautiful place to stay, the food was excellent and the location absolutely perfect for visiting Knaresborough. Couldn’t have been happier here. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

Met by friendly, welcoming staff. The room in the Annexe was lovely. Comfy bed, clean, great shower and bistro table outside the room. The location is excellent. An easy walk to the town and attractions.The car park is a bonus. The food was great and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful with a good choice. We'll definitely return.

We were in the annexe, and the 'window' in the room was full length to the floor. While we were staying it was quite warm weather, and because the window was open to the floor we weren't happy to leave it open just in case an 'animal' got in... not that we saw any, I hasten to add. On our third night we decided to eat in the restaurant, and it had been a busy day so choices were limited and what we did manage to choose was a bit disappointing.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Knaresborough. The breakfast selection is very good and plentiful. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet as it wasn't in the main hotel.

Such a lovely hotel and stay here! The staff were lovely (especially the person taking out stuff before check in, super great impression to begin our trip) and the hotel was great. We originally were going to bring our dog and rang to let them know we wouldn’t but they had still gone to the effort of arranging a pet friendly room with a dog bowl and treats, it was a lovely touch. We ate at the restaurant and staff were lovely and food was great. Breakfast was also lovely in the morning! Amazing location close to the train station/town. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and already looking at booking again!

The ‘wet room’ in the accessible room (14) was poorly designed - the floor was level so it became wet all over, rather than sloping to the drain. Not ideal really.

Excellent location, good selection for breakfast and also off the menu, great outdoor seating area, dog friendly, parking is good but get there early if it is a bank holiday 🙂 Definitely stay there again, recommend.

Rather busy and congested at breakfast. Didn’t seem to be enough room and felt that there wasn’t enough space for everyone. Could do with the lay out improving.

We paid £400 for a 2 night stay B & B. There were no personal touches. We got an email before we were due to arrive asking us to check in on line. Then an email asking us to check out just before we left. The staff looked miserable. Like we were an inconvenience. Breakfast was chaotic. There were empty trays so you could not get all your breakfast items in one sitting. We had to ask for items to be replenished. No atmosphere in the hotel at all.

The hotel is in a great location for all the attractions. It was clean & comfortable. Plenty of parking.
