Mezzanine sleeping area was pretty tight - ok for a child only. Less ornaments would be good to maximise surfaces to place belongings on

As the bed is a sofabed, the mattress wasn't quite up to par with a real bed. Also, the TV turned on at 3am each night - I assume a previous guest must have accidentally set a timer, but it gave me a fright.

Many thoughtful touches, like fire lighters for the fire pit as well as some Scottish treats, and fairy lights on the porch. The Pod was really well laid out, making great use of the space, and the location is gorgeous. The duvet and pillows were very comfortable.

A small 2-ring cooker would have been great but in the end we improvised

The pod is rather compact yet it has all what you need, the communication with the manager was excellent and we enjoyed staying next to a field full of horses - all very calming

We're not big fans of "communal" areas, that said, we were lucky we got the fire pit next to pod 4 to ourselves. Next time, I'd prefer to book more than one of the pods, as I don't feel they're separated enough for the privacy I was after. Overall, this didn't hinder our experience - the place is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped, and the host was lovely.

I love how rustic the pods are, just gorgeous. The hospitality was also fantastic, not to mention the views from the pod and the overall location. Everything's outlined very clearly and we had no issues finding the place, checking in, or checking out. If anything, the host was even willing to let us in earlier than the specified times. Very accommodating, friendly, and respectful of guests wanting a contact-free stay. We spent most of our time at the fireplace next to pod 4, we really enjoyed watching the horses, bunnies, and sunsets from here. The horses just a short walk away were also so friendly and were a highlight of our trip.

The pod was perfect. It was well stocked with the essentials , the grounds are absolutely beautiful, peaceful surroundings, and lovely to sit outside on the deck with the fire pit lit watching the horses, even the dogs on the grounds are so friendly and would come up to the pod. There is also a pub within walking distance if you want to venture out for food or even a drink.

The pull out sofa bed not very comfortable, and there was no duvet only had 2 throws under the storage compartment, so was cold during the night but good job there was a heater

So amazing ! Every touch was well thought of and so nice to sit out with family - bed super cosy too.. shower amazing and the log fire was perfect for when we wanted to snuggle after a long day. Loved it - will absolutely come back!

We had such a wonderful stay, when we arrived the hosts had lit a fire for us and everything was even more lovely than the photos! They’d left us a range of biscuits, and plenty tea/coffee etc The bed was like a hotel with a lovely arranged blanket and chocolates. Everything was so clean and the owners went above and beyond to meet our needs - they even provided a cosy dog bed which our dogs loved!! Gorgeous views of the horses. Fire pit outside. We could go on and on about how great it is!

The property was so clean and well equipped. We stayed in the larger pod with decking and outdoor seating/cooking area and swing. It was beautiful! Kary was so attentive answering queries and made my boyfriend’s birthday stay extra special. Thank you very much!

If I had to suggest something, it would be slightly larger towels and perhaps a hand towel or two. However, that is all I can think of, and it isn't really a didn't like.

We loved it. We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. The hosts have created something really special, and we felt very lucky to have discovered it. The pod itself was so well thought out. Space was used really creatively. Loved our mornings sat outside as a family, having breakfast and taking in the beautiful scenery. Will definitely come back and stay when visiting our son at Uni.

The only down side the toilet was a bit loose and I was careful using it

I loved it and was so quiet and I loved waking up seeing all the horses in the field I would definitely stay again
