Parking lot was quite full and difficult to find a spot when we arrived. Mattress was a bit soft. Water pressure was poor in the shower.

The building looked very tired and needed maintenance, especially on the entrance steps which were crumbling at the edges. Public area carpets upstairs were dirty. The room was small for two people.

Hallway carpet was a bit grubby on the second floor; could do with a good clean or replacement. I slept fine but beds were a little firmer than my preference.
Room was well presented, staff friendly and helpful and the bar was nice.

rooms very very tired. Our original room was too hot to sleep in ( in a heatwave) curtains had been left open and window shut. A promised fan wasn't there. Room had peeling paint, dirty coloured carpet in room and corridor,. Not enough car parking for the rooms
Breakfast lovely, reception chap very nice, rooms very very tired. Our original room was too hot to sleep in - after contacting reception a replacement was found, with air con. Reception were very calm and pleasant.

Some areas needed investment. Carpets in common areas. Decoration and repairs in parts of the room.

Not enough staff at breakfast. Had to clear and clean own table. Also tried to fix pancake machine and very low on all food due to lack of staff being able to cope. A complete contrast to holiday inn at Heathrow.

although breakfast was advertised until 10 am, food was cleared away at 9.30am Good job we didn't leave it until 9.30 to get there! no air conditioning in the room and window could not be opened wide

Hotel is looking like it needs total redecorating, it is tired and starting to look unclean around the edges. The room was clean enough but needed a deep clean when you looked more closely. The curtains let in a lot of light so with it being summer it made it hard to sleep. The rooms weren't brilliantly sound proof so I got an early morning alarm of someone else's child jumping above in a room above us. The air conditioning would not stay on in the room despite it being hot and stuffy.
Affordable price for a family room with breakfast, good size shower space, good location to visit family and friendly accommodating staff, which I must say seems consistent with other holiday inns we have used.
