As the hotel was busy we could not park upon arrival in the spaces directly in front of the hotel nor in the overspill. We were told to park in the general car park instead . After waiting some time two spaces came available at around 10.pm clearly from visitors taking of the spaces rather than hotel guests. Having paid the £5 we found this annoying for the one way system in Gordano required us to circle around the Service area twice after visiting off site. Those cars that left had occupants who were taking advantage of the bar facilities in the hotel which given the drink and drive laws in the UK this seems incompatible to me. I know this as I followed one driver finish his drink and go to his car. hmmmm

Room was on the ground floor, right next to the door from reception, so we experienced frequent noise disturbance, both from people moving past the room late in the evening and from outside the window by the hotel entrance. Mattress was a bit saggy in the middle. However, we only booked a few days before, so only this room was available.

Location was very convenient for our onward travel.

The hotel location is very good, my only downfall is the fact that you get charged at the hotel to park your car on the hotel car park should really be included in the price. Also breakfast is very expensive, think it should be a continental included in the price and only be charged if wanting full English.

Room was way too hot, no air con in our room but there was in my sisters. When asking staff about it they said we're told to say there's no aircon in any rooms which is a lie. The system just has error codes and needs fixing. Then we opened the windows and we were right above big generators producing heat so had to keep the windows closed. Outside area needs cig butts clearing

Could have been a glass or plastic cup in room to use for drinkning water. However used one from main bar area where there was drinking water.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great food from restaurant. Good to have a bar with restaurant and seating area. Outside space too when it was good weather. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Drinking water and glasses freely available at main reception. Great location for our visit and near to many local places of attraction by car. As it's on a service station area there were nearby shops and alternatice dining options too.

Problem with car parking payment. I was fined a week of 100 pounds a night despite paying the hotel an extra fee to park my car. Had to reclaim all the fines through my car rental.

I contacted the hotel via booking.com to ask about motorcycle parking. They took two months to reply - one month after our visit. And even then, the answer was wrong! They told me there would be a £5 charge, but there was no charge.

The room was entirely adequate for two nights. It was clean and everything you'd expect was there. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Noisy corridor doors banging all night until 1:30am. Uncomfortable pillows and no aor conditioning. Some hotel guests sat outside smoking cannabis alll night and first thing in the morning. Cops would have a field day if drug wiped drivers coming off the car park in the morning and worse thing is half of them were HGV drivers

Nice location and modern hotel. Good quality breakfast. Good location to stop off to split the drive to cornwall when travelling from the North. Dog friendly hotel and allow dogs in all parts. Restaurant food was very good. Evening meals cheaper than gojng to KFC or Burger king at the services
