The single bed mattress was really bad you could feel the springs whilst sleeping and the room was warm/stuffy and it wernt hot.

Only stayed a night the staff where great on check in and room had everything you would need in there. Location wernt the best as it was on the motorway services.

The tables were chipped and shabby. There was a poor selection and quantity of tea, milk etc and the kettle took an age to boil.

The receptionist was enthusiastic and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The bath hadn't been cleaned properly, and when I went to take a bath, I noticed body (pubic) hair in it, which wasn't appealing! There were also only two pillows provided on the bed rather than two. The charge of £15 per dog is quite a high charge considering the cost of the room, when usually I only pay a single charge of £10. I have stayed at a Days Inn many times and have not had these issues before.

The area and views were great. It was a very comfortable room as well as spacious.

Long waiting for check in, card payments no proof of payment provided, no receipt no invoices, one time card approved but receptionist said payment not received but did not provided any proof of failed attempt therefore I had to spend precious time to communicate with the bank to verify

We spend at least 2 nights a year here.....and it's nearly exactly half way on our annual visit to the Stottish Highland. This year we noticed in particular how tired the hotel, well particularly the corridors are looking. Next time maybe we'll even get a lake view room!

Cold water taps did not run properly. The flow was very weak and sometimes almost non-existent. Both my wife and I have mobility difficulties. Our room was on the lower floor and there is no lift or entrance for disabled visitors - just stairs - which are awkward to navigate with bags and crutches.

Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Good sized room. Comfortable bed.

The site of this Days Inn is brilliant - lovely lake with seating so you can sit there in the mornings with a coffee while looking at the beautiful view. A lovely start to the day. Great access to Yorkshire Dales and this part of Cumbria. Staff knowledgeable on local area and friendly. There's masses to see and do nearby. I've been here a few times, never a problem with parking and free with the booking.

The hotel is a bit run-down, with lots of cracks on the tiles and a carpet covered in stains. One of my dogs found a used cotton bud under the bed. It was disgusting.

The location is good. The view from our room was beautiful. The room was also spacious and perfect for our dogs. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. The food vouchers are worth buying.

The room was a pretty outdated and needed some minor repairs, despite booking for 4 of us 1 of the beds was not actually a bed just a mattress on the floor and there were only towels for 2 people. As we were only there 1 night as a stop over it was fine but I would of asked to move had we been staying longer.

The lady on reception was very friendly and the location was great for our trip.
