I stayed at Dannah Farm Country House for a short solo getaway, and it turned out to be one of the most peaceful, restorative experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I arrived, everything about the place invited calm—from the stunning countryside surroundings to the thoughtful details inside the accommodation. The room was spotless, cozy, and felt like it was designed to hold you gently through whatever kind of rest you needed. The private spa area was truly the highlight for me—soothing, quiet, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I spent time in the hot tub surrounded by stillness, and it felt like the world slowed down just enough to breathe again. The staff were warm and kind without ever being intrusive, and breakfast was lovely—fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. This place isn’t just beautiful—it’s thoughtful. It holds space for rest in a way that feels rare these days. I left lighter, calmer, and incredibly grateful. Highly recommended, especially if you need somewhere to reset.

Spiral staircase very steep and you would struggle to get up if you have mobility issues

Stayed in the studio (2 levels) with bedroom upstairs and settee tv fridge shower etc downstairs… loved the hot tub on private patio, breakfast was amazing freshly cooked to order and lots of choice, tranquil surroundings and a fantastic getaway experience

We drove passed the property as the sat nav wasn’t accurate, but if there had been a sign on both sides of the entrance we would’ve got there 5 mins earlier

Traditional and picturesque farm in a stunning location, peaceful and relaxing, we stayed in the hay loft suite with our own private garden, with a hot tub and cabin with sauna/shower, lounge etc. The food was excellent, all locally sourced. The host was warm, welcoming and kind. We even ordered takeout delivery!

It was really nice, not much to complain about, but there was a dead spider on the roof.

It’s a beautiful, extremely well-maintained property with excellent hospitality. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Joan is a fabulous host and she works very hard to keep all the guests happy. Dannah Farm Country House is the perfect blend of luxury and homeliness. Our suite came with a private sauna and a massive hot tub, bedroom with four poster bed, dining area and lounge. The attention to detail in each room was amazing. The breakfast is delightful, made with fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to get back soon.
