United KingdomThe breakfast was very limited and we did not have one on either day. We chose to go and have a hot breakfast and coffee in a local cafe. We just used the breakfast room to make a cup of tea, as there was no kettle in the room, which was disappointing. The bathroom had a broken towel rail that had been just left on the side. We removed it and put it in the wardrobe as it was metal and was dangerous to be left on the side in the bathroom. The shower curtain was heavily stained and needed to be replaced. The wooden radiator cover was chipped, broken and lose. The bathroom was tiled with vibrant patterned tiles, but was a bit tired.
The location was great. The room was spacious for the three of us. The beds were clean and super comfy. There was the added bonus of an air conditioning unit which made the room very comfortable to sleep in, in the heat. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

ItalyNo one at the reception, but only codes to get in! It was ok as I received all details in the morning by message, but I didn't meet anybody there! Too many stairs as I was in the attic room! It was ok for me but it could help knowing in advance (e.g. if you have elderly people)

United KingdomThe 'breakfast menu' was actually a bar menu. The (much better) breakfast menu from the hotel's previous incarnation was still displayed in the rooms, confusingly. No room cleaning on any of my 3 nights' stay. Again, the only mention of this was on a notice in the previous house style hidden on a window ledge at reception completely out of sight. The stair carpet has clearly not been hoovered in months. It's absolutely filthy. It's clear that the current owners are running the place as cheaply as possible with zero investment.
The rooms remain nicely decorated, with good air conditioning.

I needed to stay in London for a few days for my daughters brain surgery at kings college hospital. The hotel was lovely, and great location for the hospital. The staff were wonderful, and very helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Air conditioning in the room was a god send, as the weather was very hot on these few days I was there. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

DenmarkThe hotel stuff called me the previous day that despite my confirmed booking they are overbooked so are unable to provide the room. The stuff was not helpful at all and the telephone number they provided was out of work. Despite they cancelled my reservation they do not cancelled it on the booking.com platform, so it looked like that I didnt show up. I strongly discourage anyone to book a room there.

United KingdomAfter having a booking confirmed, driving 5 hours only to be told they didn't allocate me a room is not good. We missed our evening entertainment as I had to spend hours trying to find alternative accommodation once there. When I explained I had driven 5 hours and had nowhere to sleep, they responded "well we had someone from Paris I cancelled earlier". Apparently I shouldn't be upset because Pierre flew further than me and was also overbooked. You had 1 job. I book a room, you reserve it. And looking at other reviews (since my trip) it seems this is a regular occurance. My money is on them prioritising direct bookings over booking.com bookings so they pay less fees. This hotel shouldn't be on booking.com. If you book, the reception telephone numbers are shown on my pics. I recommend calling them first (the company number is international and doesn't answer).

I was at home and my wife had gone to London for a hospital appointment and went to check in at the hotel we booked and they advised she had to pay cash .This attitude by reception intimidated my wife. The room was small and filthy and did not have the facilities described My wife has left the hotel as she felt threatened as she is a female travelling on her own and she has gone to find another Hotel The reception area stank of weed Do you do any basic checks on hotels you use? I Robert Coombs (my email coombsliverpool@btinternet.com ) used booking.com on numerous occasions and have never been treated like this The hotel does not have an english phone number listed but an Indian number this should not be allowed We will have been charged a fortune to call India !!! In a nutshell the place is a dosshouse and Customers safety is compromised Any one thinking of staying here would be more comfortable and safer sleeping on the green just up the road
