United StatesThe only thing we didn’t like about the property was that it advertised a promotion after we had booked for a king room, we ended up upgrading and paid for it only to find out that the king room was just a bigger room, but the bed was still a double Sized bed. Personally, I felt scammed a little bit and provided the feedback to the staff that if they are going to advertise a king room, most people would expect that it would come with a king size bed, and so just be aware that a king room does not mean a king bed

We had such an incredible stay here! The staff are all super lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We were visiting for an anniversary, and were delighted with a free room upgrade. We also got engaged during our trip (ahh!!) and when we mentioned this in the bar that night (asking our lovely waitress for help with taking some photos for us) we were given some complementary prosecco and a gorgeous congratulations dessert platter! We loved it and would happily stay again!

There is a Tesco and a bus stop a short walk away from the hotel, which gives easy access to Edinburgh city centre.

United KingdomBreakfast was not included in the room rate. Continental breakfast costs £9 and full breakfast costs £19. My wife and I tired the continental breakfast in the first day morning. But I found the choice of food is very limited and quality of food was only average.
The location is convenient for self driving. The car park is just next to the hotel and free of charge. The driving time from the hotel to the city centre takes about 40 min.
