Nothing to criticize.

Heather is an outstanding hostess. Her caring and outgoing personality made our delightful stay unforgettable. Crown house, located in a quiet neighborhood at walking distance from the town centre, has stylish, cozy and very tidy rooms. Of note, the bed matress and sheets turned to be soft and quite confortable, favorising an excellent sleep quality. Besides, the breakfast included proved to be not only tasty, but also copious. We appreciated much her kind gesture of preparing a special avocado based breakfast, as my wife is strictly vegetarian. To sum up, we absolutely recommend Crown House to anyone planning to discover Inverness and the scottish Highlands. We hope to return someday in the future. Rodrigo and Kathy

Heather the host couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived,till the time we left. The room was beautiful and the breakfasts were fresh and filling. Heather also helped book meals for us at locations within Inverness city centre. Also the Crown house is in a great central location only a 10 min walk from Inverness city centre.

Everything! Heather, the proprietor was excellent! Great host, with a wonderful sense of humor. Her home was beautiful, so tastefully decorated and inviting. It was a visual delight. The bed was very comfortable. There were lights, plugs, and USB outlets where needed. Heather included luxuries such as a towel rack heater. Flowers filled her home. It was beautiful. A quick walk from the train station. Heather had a breakfast menu for her guests to choose from at check-in, so she would have it prepared in the morning. Heather and her partner Andy are first class all the way! Thank you for a wonderful stay and memories.

Heather was really nice and very accommodating .The entire place smells good and she made delicious breakfast .she made an extra effort to prepare breakfast earlier since we need to catch up an early tour going to the high lands.She also gave restaurant recommendations and places to visit in Inverness.

I didn’t stay longer

The host Heather was sensational. Sometimes we book a place and we only expect a nice place to sleep - but this was that and so much more. Heather really made the place special. Great recommendations, wonderful breakfast and a real “host” of her bed and breakfast. 10/10 would recommend.

Heather. She was helpful and available. The location is great. Walk down the hill into town. There are several restaurants near her place that were great. The home clean and lovely. Should also mention that the breakfast was fantastic. Delicious (especially compared to the other places we stayed).

Parking is in the drive, where there is space for two cars. You may end up parking on the road.

Great location, very peaceful, but just 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Lovely, spacious room, with two chairs. How often do you have a double room with just one chair, which is somewhat frustrating. Great breakfast. Good advice on where to eat and where to visit.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Crown House. Our 2-night stay was made easy and relaxing by our amazing host, Heather. She went above and beyond, giving us tips to navigate our first visit to Scotland, and making us dinner reservations. Breakfast was absolutely delicious- eggs with salmon highly recommended! The house was clean and welcoming, off street parking was extremely helpful, and our bed was very comfortable. Crown House felt like a home away from home, and we would absolutely recommend a stay here to anyone visiting Inverness. You will not be disappointed.

My stay with Heather was absolutely wonderful. Such a beautiful and cosy home to be welcomed into. The breakfast options I tried were all delicious, I especially loved the porridge. The room was lovely and clean and smelt so fresh everytime I returned. It was peaceful at night time being in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. I am an animal lover so I especially loved meeting Mocha the dog and Jingle the cat and being welcomed back from a day exploring or greeted first thing in the morning😊 the cherry on top however was Heather, so lovely and I really enjoyed our chats. Thank you for making my stay extra special, you are fabulous and I hope to stay again 😊 ps. The wee dram of whiskey made it back to Bristol in one piece!

Carrying bags upstairs to second floor

From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the excellent friendly customer service. We appreciated the small things such as chocolates on our bed, great TV options, recommendations for dinner, self serve coffee in the room, delicious breakfast options, and ready access to plugs for our phones.

Very comfortable room and bed, mouth watering breakfast, which by itself would be enough reason to come back. Very friendly and incredibly caring host - to a point where you'll feel like being in the fanciest of hotels. I've never experienced anything quite like it. As described, the bathroom is not en suite. However, it was right next door and the hallway has always been quiet and private, so this was no issue at all. I have only ever run into one very well-behaved cat. The distance to the city center ended up being a blessing in disguise, as the short walk was through a very nice, quiet, low-traffic residential neighbourhood which apparantly is the oldest part of Inverness. In retrospect, I would hated staying in the center / near the train station.
