Nothing. It was just perfect!

The location was perfect…easy to access and beautiful. We had beautiful views from the windows. The hosts were extremely friendly, they waited for us at arrival and helped us into our rooms. The property was extremely clean and well kept and well equipped. We had wonderful cakes, coffees and teas, biscuits, fresh milk and butter etc prepared for us.

We liked everything.

A lovely property with an excellent location and the most wonderful and truly caring hosts. The apartment we stayed in was spacious and it felt like home. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were nice and soft. The breakfast items provided were an added bonus (special thanks for the high quality coffee, milk, butter) as well as the nice toiletries. There are only 10 easily passable steps (which we didn't find neither steep nor narrow) with a mild bend going towards the apartment. We highly recommend!!

Our stay here was amazing and I’m dreaming to one day return. The gardens and scenery around the house is dreamy and the hospitality was so warm. We were so grateful for the welcome basket of snacks and ability to purchase fresh eggs on the property. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Lovely clean apartment. We only stayed one night but the owner was very welcoming and provided us with home made muesli, cake, butter, milk and biscuits. Great area for walks

The property was so lovely .., situated right next to the most beautiful gardens..,and all the small little touches … the morning pastries etc were so thoughtful. Would definitely book here again.

The apartment was clean and felt very homely. A lovely welcome pack with an assortment of cakes, biscuits, waffles and pancakes were left. Would highly recommend staying there.

Appin is a little remote and no real shops around. As this is self catering you need to do your shopping at Fort William or Oban- 30 mins away. The Owner provided this information in advance which was very helpful.

Gorgeous house and farm property. Lovely gardens. Very relaxing. Loved the log burner in our apartment. Comfortable bed. Felt very at home. Owner friendly and helpful. Welcome pack a lovely surprise. Lovely little pub nearby for atmospheric dinner. There is a tennis court in the backyard with racquets and balls supplied which was a delight for my son and I.

The travel cot mattress was so thin that I could only feel the hard board beneath it, so I had to pad the baby’s bed with towels and blankets.

Very clean and comfortable, a lovely location with a walkable pub nearby! Very well equipped kitchen, cosy sitting room with a wood burner and beautifully decorated bedrooms.

Loved the decorations, the wood stove, and the comfortable beds! The communications were great. We appreciated the thoughtful treats upon arrival! Hospitality was excellent. The kitchen was a bit narrow but perfectly functional. Some cookware needed a thorough cleaning. I mentioned it to the host, who accepted responsibilities and was very graceful. The building is traditional and beautiful. We only stayed one night in December. Would go back and would recommend it to anyone.

The apartment was cosy with plenty of wood to keep our fire going in the evenings. Kitchen was well equipped and rooms were big with everything we needed. The owner was lovely and her attention to detail is admirable. She is very kind and friendly. She left a small gift for us when we arrived and nearly every room had fresh flowers. The location - house was very easy to find.

Everything was just perfect. Abi and her family is super nice and helpful. The house was tidy and comfortable, with an amating view and quite place. We liked the fire place and the living room. Its felt just like home.

Quintessential Scottish hospitality. The welcome pack and treats were unexpected and appreciated. Warm character filled, well appointed for self catering, comfy beds and squeaky clean. Wish we had booked for longer.
