Thought it was a little expensive. Rooms were small and there was no breakfast, restaurant or bar. We new this when we booked but it did seem expensive for what was offered.

Close to Inverary centre and provided adequate parking.

Great location, beautiful views from the garden - lots of chairs to sit out and admire the view. Only a 5/10 minute walk into Inveraray where there are some very good pubs, beer gardens, shops and restaurants/cafes.

The drain in the shower didn't clear properly. The shower door also didn't close properly. Both are simple fixes but we didn't see the owner in the morning to mention them to him as he seemed like the kind of person who'd make sure they were fixed.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent and the owner very helpful, providing useful advice on where to eat in the evening. The view, in the morning, from the bedroom window was also quite spectacular with the mist on the hills following a rain shower.

If the hotel was full the parking would have been very limited

This is an unstaffed property but access using key codes was very easy to use. The hotel and room were very nice and well equipped. The owners had obviously considered what the guest would need to make it comfortable. It is only a short walk into Inverary and a short drive to the castle.

    Outside area a bit tired

We had deluxe room so fantastic view across Loch Fynne although the main road is right before the view of the Loch. There was passing traffic but not too bad. The long front garden gave a good view too. The outside of the building and the furniture was a bit tired although a comfortable enormous bed! Fridge in room very useful as there is NO BREAKFAST OR MEALS. No staff on site but available on phone to help with entry codes etc. Should remove sign outside advertising the place as B & B ( and booking.com should check their advert too which originally said breakfast available). However it is very close to the Coop and into town was literally 5 mins. Right next door also is Loch Fynne Hotel and Spa and the meal there was lovely though a bit pricey.

The front patio could be made a bit more inviting to help enjoy the gorgeous view.

A lovely room, smallish, but with country character. A short walk to the cafes and pubs and Inverary castle. Inverary has been one of our favourite small towns on our holiday so far, so pretty.

my wife and I stayed here for 2 nights ,on arrival we met Crawford who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the room was clean and tidy and the bed comfy, the room had all the amenities needed for our stay.would stay here again if in the area.we visited inveraray castle and the jail both worth a visit,we had our evening meal at the cottage restaurant which the food was delicious (would reserve a table though has it can get busy).

The self service regarding checking in. Sqeeky bathroom room, woke partner during the night. Tight parking spaces. Lack of TV channels. Aerial needs fixed. Hard bed. No option for breakfast.

Location although maybe a bit too much of a walk for elderly into town centre.
