How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It's next to a road and has on street parking. However, we always found a space to park, even during the local music festival. The road isn't too busy and was silent at night.
This is a really lovely place to stay, right in the heart of Framlingham. This is like a home from home. Very modern, clean, and well furnished. It's a 5 minute walk into the centre. Little touches like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, sponges, shampoo, body wash, netflix, and toys made this a great experience.

The house was in a great location for walking into the centre of Framlingham and to the castle. It was also extremely comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the patio in the mornings and in the evenings.

there was nothing we didn't like.
Well furnished and very comfortable cosy cottage , 5 minutes walk from the centre of Framlingham . It was also immaculately clean. This is our second visit and we would highly recommend !

The cottage was perfect and loved all the little extras Nichola had put in. My in laws live just around the corner so with all the family visiting at once it was a perfect location and place to stay. Lovely view of the castle too would definitely stay here again 😁

Nothing. We had a brilliant stay.
Beautiful little cottage in a very convenient area of town, just five minutes walk to the centre. This was a perfect base for us on our short trip to Suffolk. You can see Framlingham castle from the bedroom window and this is also a short walk away. Perfect if you're an English Heritage member If you want to visit Sutton Hoo (you should, it is fascinating) then it's only a twenty minute drive. I hope we can return to Framlingham in the near future as this is a beautiful part of the country.

Fab cottage, everything you need, and more! Super clean, lovely little extra touches, too. The corner bath was a huge hit with the kids, as was the toy box. Nice to have a bit of outside space, to relax and enjoy the sunshine View was a bonus 🏰 Great location for walking to the castle and into Framlingham. We tried out the Crown and The Two Magpies, and both did not disappoint.

It was perfect
The cottage was emaculate, and everything looked brand new. It was very spacious and had a cute little garden. You could see the castle from the kitchen window

Parking was a bit difficult because there's a double yellow line outside the cottage but I was able to stop and unload the car before parking further up the road.
We liked the location and the cottage itself was lovely - very clean, well furnished and welcoming.
