Well, this was one of the best places I have been to. It was so clean,warmly,friendly, and peaceful that they accomadeted me and my friends disabilities regarding moving our stuff from car to pod and hottub lid it was made so easy for us both and so relaxing I will certainly be comming back 😊 thankyou for making this break happen for us both as we have bad spine problems

Small bed, this is a personal dislike. We are both tall people and usually sleep on a king sized bed. A double bed is literally too small so was uncomfortable however they do have a fold out sofa bed if you wanted to sleep separately.

Very accommodating hosts, so friendly and willing to help with all your needs. The hot tub was roasting when we arrived and my boy was over the moon. Fantastic. Will definitely come back to stay.

Hot tub scenery outside decking with furniture just liked it all, if I had to gripe it would be the 4pm checkin and 10 check out but early so had to rush about

Property perfect, location perfect, hot tub lovely temperature, bbq, fire pit in the floor all fenced off, and night sky black, no light pollution, the stars are amazing!!! stayed in herons nest, I would recommend 100 percent host is in communication with any query answered immediately, nice heart of petals when you arrive on the bed. 3 canisters, with sugar, tea, and coffee,would come back again really good stay , Thankyou

The hot tub area wasn’t totally shielded from view from Certain neighbours although they have put up ivy/decor to give about 90% privacy

We didn't really have any issues, the only thing we couldn't quite figure out was why the hottub wasnt as hot, but might have been our fault for not letting it heat up before going in! It's a fantastic hot tub!! We have no complaints!

It had everything we needed, bed was comfy and it was very clean. Location was ideal for visiting Galloway Forest park.

Everything! We felt so relaxed from the moment we arrived, everything had been thought of, right from leaving the heating on for our arrival (it was raining and chilly!), blankets, rose petals on the bed, firewood, boardgames and dvds available...I could continue! The location was great, we felt really far away from everything but actually the road was just behind us, which made going out to the forest or bookshopping in Wigtown nice and easy! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Suzi explained that we can walk to the beach from the cabin and we were so glad we did, it was a lovely walk. The hot tub overlooking the fields of cows and sheep and the hills was just perfect!

I booked this lodge as a surprise weekend for my partners birthday and everything about our stay was amazing. The lodge was absolutely beautiful and is very closed off so you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere on your own. We added on extras and enjoyed the firebit with toasted marshmallows one night after an evening in the hot tub and used the barbecue facilities also. Suzi left us essentials such as milk, rolls, tea and coffee ect as well as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We brought our doggo with us which was only £10 more. The space was amazing for our dog as this was enclosed and he had just as an amazing time as we did! Thank you so much for everything! We had a great stay and will definitely be coming back ❤️ I would recommend to everyone.

Great location for a relaxing stay with golf course and scenic walks nearby. Cabin had everything we needed and the hot tub was a real bonus. Owners were very helpful and friendly, we will definitely return again.

Not much, maybe the fire pit could do with having stones around the edge so the wind doesn’t affect it as much.

Great location, close to a lot of nice places to visit in the area. Felt very secluded although we knew people were around us. The bed was amazingly comfortable!

Everything was perfect.

Ideal location, beautiful views and felt like the only people there. Enclosed garden was amazing as this is actually hard to find when taking your dog with you. Tracey introduced herself to us and if we had any issues to make her aware. Very approachable and lovely to see that it matters that everyone has a nice time at their pods.

We had the best time at the cabin. The location is great, very easy to find and also very close to the nearby beaches and other attractions. There are two other cabins that were also occupied but we didn't hear anyone at all and it felt very private. This cabin was very clean, cozy, with comfortable beds and it had everything we needed. And of course the hot tub was amazing especially in this season after a rainy walk. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a relaxing weekend away.

Lovely place, clean and tidy. Hot tub ready for your arrival and available 24/7. Wee shop with bbq essentials and fresh farm eggs. Shed with games, books, DVD's if you are feeling bored. Owners just around the corner if you need any assistance. Would be more than happy to go again.

Tried some of the recommended walks in the info pack in the room - were a bit difficult to stay on track! Suggest updating them.

Loved the hot tubs. Nice walks to the beach. Good location for exploring West Galloway. Did I mention the hotubs! Dog friendly.

Parking not next to pod which wasn’t great as it was very poor weather, also hot tub was not enclosed which meant very open to weather, would have made much better experience if it had been completely enclosed but again only due to weather
