Very noisy at night as people were talking outside till 1am. We needed to have the windows open as it was too hot to close them and there was no fan.

They were very honest about how noisy Friday and Saturday nights would be, and they weren't kidding. We'll plan on being here during the week next time.

The kitchen was very organized, the beds, shower, and view were amazing! The staff was super welcoming and the pub that is part of the house was delicious and reasonable prices. We are definitely looking forward to going back here!

The only minor thing is the noise from the bar downstairs as it’s licensed until 2am at weekends However we left at midnight. 😁 It would not put us off coming back.

The location for us was ideal and close to the venue we were attending at Corran Halls. Our large sea view room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Continental Breakfast is available 6-10am in a communal kitchen and prices listed and based on an honesty box. (Lovely idea) The reception staff were polite and helpful as were all of the staff in Markie Dans downstairs. A very helpful barman was able to provide me with a plug for my phone charger as I’d left mine at home. (THANK YOU) We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit in glorious sunshine. Bonus for us. Would definitely return to this place.

Level of cleanliness was extremely high. Room was comfortable. Staff were efficient and helpful. I stayed overnight twice in one week, before and after a trip over to Mull. Experience on both occasions was highly satisfactory. Would undoubtedly stay again. Convenient bar down in the basement.

Noise on weekends (although the property warned us, it was really noisy if you were assigned to a room over the pub) Room was on a third floor via stairs (we were informed about this a couple of days before arriving, but it is difficult if you arrie with heavy luggage) It is kind of a mix between a hostel, a B&B, and a family hotel, divided in 2 buildings.

Location is great Shared kitchen works well, it's fully equipped Hotel was fully transparent with all the potential issues

A minor thing but the duvet was quite old & heavy

Really liked the communal kitchen plus big fridge to store food. It felt v homely being able to get our own breakfast whenever we liked & have somewhere other than our room to sit.

Some guests did not tidy their own dishes, which was disappointing to see. Also, there were many nights with drunken tourists being stupid at the pub beer garden downstairs that put a dampener on our nights. Even with earplugs. I’d recommend staying Sunday- Tuesday. Although some shops are closed, it’s worth it because Oban is quieter and allowed to be its charming self without too many tourists.

Lovely staff, stunning view, clean and comfortable facilities. The guest kitchen was so useful and a wonderful option to have.

The bar downstairs is really good and people are having a great time, but that also means that in some rooms you can hear the noise rom the street/bar at night.

Checking in and out was easy. Nice and clean rooms. Great view over the harbour from one of rhe rooms. Within walking distance from center and supermarket. Great bar downstairs with really good food and very nice and helpful staff.
