Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was a 7-8 min walk from the train station and the same walk from the main bars and restaurants, it was in-between the two shores, great location.

Central to Llandudno giving easy access to main attractions and restaurants. House is beautiful and finished to a very high standard. The hosts Lyn and Liam are very friendly and made our stay perfect. The breakfast was superb!

Nothing to dislike, everything was amazing.
Exceptional Guest House, hosts Lyn & Liam were very welcoming and friendly, the room we had was very comfortable and at the top of the house, with views of The Great Orme. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and enough to keep you going all day. Good location, tucked away from the main high street but far enough to be able to walk to town and the pier. Define recommend this guest house! Thanks for a great stay.

We had the most relaxing enjoyable 3 days, we had room no 3 it was a lovely room with a big walk in shower, there was also a seating area with a table making watching TV so much more comfortable. The bed was huge and the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Breakfasts were gorgeous, the fruit and creamy yogurt were my fav, but I made room for the yummy cooked breakfast, the bacon was delicious. Liam and Lyn were wonderful hosts and made us very welcome. The house is in a lovely quiet area only minutes from all the amenities. Thank you both x

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Lyn also gave us a choice of cake to nibble on during the day. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and the en suite also had a deep bath (something you don't often find). The whole accommodation was spotless. Location was very good within easy walking distance of the town, beaches and promenade

Perfect in everyway. Lyn and Liam guest house owners was accomodating in everyway. They even ironed my partners shirt for him. I will definately be visiting again. 10/10

Cornerways exceeded our expectations and the hosts, Liam and Lyn, were very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and informative about the local area. Our en-suite king-size room was spacious, very comfortable, very clean, and the hosts had clearly shown attention to detail. Complimentary WiFi worked very well throughout our stay, and parking on the driveway was arranged. The arrangements for our stay were confirmed in a welcoming telephone call from Lyn a couple of days before our arrival, which was very helpful. The standard of breakfast was excellent, with good cereal and fruit options, in addition to a very good quality cooked breakfast, with complimentary cakes provided each day. This guest house was located just a few minutes walk from the centre of town and the promenade, and just a few minutes further from the west shore (as a quieter and sandy beach area at the other side of the town). This was an ideal location for short stay in Llandudno. As a competitively priced and high standard guest house, we would highly recommend Cornerways to others when considering a stay in Llandudno. We would also recommend a visit to Llandudno as an attractive and scenic Welsh resort town on the north coast.

Nothing not to like.
Cornerways was a fantastic find, exceptional accommodation, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, everything provided for a very comfortable stay. Excellent Breakfast , lots of choice, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast and full English all perfectly cooked , and cake. Hosts Lyn and Liam were really friendly, accommodating and helpful, and looked after us so well, we didn’t want to leave, it felt like we were leaving friends, we will definitely return, and would definitely recommend.

Liam and Lyn were the perfect hosts . Their attention to detail was ‘second to none’ . They went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and comfortable . The breakfast was outstanding - especially the choice of cake every day ! We can honestly say this was the best B&B we have ever stayed in .

Friendly and helpful owners Cornerways is a lovely B&B, just a short walk to the restaurants, public houses, shops, seafront and pier. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have all the amenities needed. Breakfast is very good, I did enjoy the fruit and excellent yoghurt.

Only small details Fan in room would have been a nice touch due to being slightly warm and window could not have been left open due to wind No other juice on the table apart from orange small things did not take away from the experience
The hosts were amazing lyn and Liam were so friendly and made us feel welcome making sure we were well looked after and well rested There was a bath at the property that had depth which was great The beds were comfortable Breakfast was amaizing made by preference and was delicious. It was a great stay and would recommend to anyone.
