Big old Victorian house on main road into Manchester. Basically. Now a series of rooms with Dropbox key. No staff. Fine if you need somewhere to stay.

No reception staff- didn’t see anyone at all in a two night stay. Felt like an Airbnb with remote check-in. No longer offering breakfast, although there is a kitchen/diner area. No milk for complimentary tea/coffee in bedroom and no toiletries (or even soap) in the en suite bathroom.

Very clean, coffee and tea provided, very comfortable and quiet, great location - short drive to Trafford Centre and Altrincham. Lots of shops, restaurants and groceries within walking distance.

Change of ownership since I booked (wasn’t informed). No longer do breakfasts which was one of our main reasons for staying here. No hairdryer. Broken TV. Difficult shower, didn’t maintain constant temperature.

Our only issue was caused by the weather! Just couldn’t get any fresh air into the room, even though the sash window was fully open during our entire stay

Was totally surprised at the property & will definitely attempt to stay there again! The room was spacious, comfortable & had a theme throughout (French) Special mention for the proprietor, Ahmed, such a friendly guy, happy & very chatty

We didn’t see any staff during our stay but the chat feature on the app gave us all the information we needed.

We loved the property. We are returning guests from visiting around 10 years ago. It was exactly what we needed. Great for a commute.

A bit of a problem checking in, but staff were very friendly and helpful in resolving. Currently doing some renovations, look forward to seeing what it's like when they are complete!

Couldn’t find it at first the sign covered by ivy & you needed to come in via a back street. It’s only because knew roughly where I was I found our way into the car park. Few issues but managed sort them with Ahmed.

Bed was comfy. Ahmed very helpful & accommodating got our room ready early. We wasn’t in the room much so didn’t try the tv or make a brew.

Would have been great if there'd been even a small fridge - if I were staying more than one night that'd be a deal breaker.

A really great room, in a wonderful building. Didn't see the staff face to face, but they were really helpful on email and on the phone. Will definitely stay again.

Didn't see a member of staff. However when I arrived I had a query regarding my room key and managed to speak to the owner over the phone, he was helpful which was reassuring. It also would have been nice to have a breakfast option, even a continental.

The room and bathroom facilities were clean. I found the bed comfortable. Felt the decor was a bit tired, In need of a refresh.

This time however I didn't see anyone and everything was done via key codes and work was going on whilst I was there so a definite drop unfortunately

TV on the wall would have been more helpful. Our room didn't lock from the inside - it looked like it should but it only locked from the outside.

The location was excellent, near to transport and family. Comfy queen bed.
