This is a fabulous place to stay and our hosts were very interactive. We love the English country and this active farm is quite deep in the countryside. We would highly recommend staying here, particularly if you want to enjoy and understand British farming.

This is the nicest B & B we’ve ever stayed in, run by two of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Lucy and Charlie are warm and welcoming. Our room was fantastic, wonderful views, great big bed with lovely bedding and a superb shower room. Everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was absolutely super, we enjoyed meeting two other guests staying there and eating with them. We wished we could have stayed longer, can’t wait to go again.

Its stunning rural location was an obvious first impression. Our hosts Lucy and Charlie could not have been nicer. Our room on the first floor was super comfortable and the unspoilt views were superb. Being on a live farm was an added bonus for a pair of townies. Would highly recommend staying there.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Copse gate farm. Lucy and Charlie were the loveliest hosts. We were able to wander around the farm and even got to feed the lambs. Breakfast was delicious. The bed was so comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. We hope to come back one day and stay a little longer!

Everything about our stay was wonderful and Lucy and Charlie were marvellous hosts😀 loved hearing Charlie’s tales about life on the farm and chatting to Lucy while she fed the animals - such a delightful experience. Nothing was too much trouble and they looked after us so well.Miss them, Miaow, the cat 🐱and all the animals.

We found the room very warm, would still come back again, but next time we will bring a fan.

We loved staying here, the room was beautiful and the view was spectacular. Lucy and Charlie were so lovely and very helpful. We had a fantastic breakfast, which was all sourced from the farm and cooked by Charlie (make sure you have the Bacon, it was delicious). There was a TV in the room, but honestly didn't need it, we loved just looking at the view out the window and watching the farm life. Our favourite part was feeding the lambs with Lucy.

Everything was just perfect...the room and facilities were very clean and well looked after...breakfast was fantastic...the location is peaceful and quiet... Lucy and Charlie are wonderful people. They were very welcoming and really pleasant. The location is well situated for all the local attractions. I would recommend a stay here to anyone. We will be returning.

Excellent cooked breakfast with options if you do not want cooked. Plentiful fresh coffee. Spacious, very well furnished ensuite bedroom with a large comfortable bed. Great view to the attractive countryside. Would definitely recommend.

There was nothing at all that we didn’t enjoy or like.

The views were amazing, it was quiet and in the middle of nowhere. The hosts were very friendly and inviting and a pleasure to meet. Our room was lovely and very peaceful. A working farm so we had the pleasure of seeing and hearing the animals. Breakfast with the other guests and hosts around the same table was very enjoyable and friendly.

We didn’t need quite such a large fridge/freezer in the room but that’s a personal opinion and others might find it useful.

Fabulous hosts in Lucy and Charlie. Freshly cooked breakfast with food directly from the farm was delicious. Loved being able to help feed the lambs. Great location for the Jurassic Coast. Lovely large bath towels too 😊

The only downside is having to navigate narrow country lanes to reach the property, but a small price to pay!

Wonderful hosts, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Charlie does a damn fine breakfast, serving up his own farm produced food. Good recommendations for evening meals. Glorious views of the Dorset countryside from our bedroom window. A great find for us.
