Small room with minimal storage so suitcases end up taking space in room, but expect this is typical of these beautiful older houses.

Easy access to buses into Edinburgh and very helpful staff and parking available. Very neat and tidy room with new bathroom and shower!

The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Although we didn’t have the chance to meet our host in person (which we would have really appreciated), everything was well organised and communication was smooth. We didn’t have breakfast on site, but the overall experience was still great and we felt very well taken care of.

Nitpicking here but it would’ve been nice to have a ceiling fan or even a table fan. But we enjoyed all other modern amenities at the property!

Our room was spotlessly clean and we were greeted with a generous welcome package with some snacks. The guest house is located in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Free parking was a plus and worked out really well for us since we had rented a car for a roadtrip to the highlands. Another bonus - mini fridge!

Nothing. Breakfast is a bit limited, as we were told, but there are a couple of lovely cafes nearby.

Very efficient (midday check-in!) and well-run guest house, very clean, very friendly, in a nice area. We left a jacket behind and the guest house was super speedy in returning it - many thanks!

I wasn't sure how to tell but if I knew ahead of time I would have tried to request a room on the lower levels since we had a older family member with us and we didn't know about the stairs ha. But that might just be a mistake on my part. Everything else was perfect.

The staff was super friendly and gave us bags nearly every night with breakfast goodies. They were also very attentive with questions and concerns. Very sweet. I also loved the quieter area! Also loved the kitchenette

This is not a complaint, but our stay happened to be during the European summer, right in the middle of a heatwave. I understand this is not a frequent situation in Edinburgh, but on some days it would have been very helpful to have a fan available in the room, or window screens to keep insects out. That way, we could have left the windows open at night and slept more comfortably and without concern.

Our stay was excellent! We arrived quite late, but the staff were very thoughtful and provided clear instructions for accessing the building. The room was cosy, with an extremely comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Cleanliness is definitely a highlight: I suffer from allergic rhinitis and had no issues at all during our six-night stay. As stated in the accommodation description, breakfast is not served on-site. However, the team delivers a small breakfast kit every morning, which works perfectly if you just need something quick before heading out for the day. The building is located in a very pleasant and quiet residential area, yet still relatively close to Edinburgh city centre. For added convenience, there is a bus stop less than a five-minute walk away. Overall, this is a great option for a stay in Edinburgh, and one I would confidently recommend

Nothing, it was all good. It would be nice if the breakfast bag was a little more varied each day if possible but that’s my only issue Great that a fridge was included but wasn’t very cold

The property is gorgeous! It has the original historic architecture but the interior has been modernized. They kept the charm of the original design but added modern comforts.

The bedroom was clean and comfy. Ruthie was super kind and friendly. She responded to messages quickly and was helpful. The location was close to a bus stop which made travel easy. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing location, really easy to go to city center, there are numerous buses a few meters away. The bed is big and comfortable, we got free breakfast which was a very nice gesture!

The noises from the rest of the house and from the entrance, were a bit disturbing. The street is otherwise quiet and not busy.

If there are noisy people coming up the stairs or entering their room you can hear that - but it wasn't too bad.

We were on the top floor. I loved the view. It was a very comfortable room in an attractive building. The breakfast boxes are a nice extra. It is a fair walk into the old town but everything is super easy once you start catching the frequent local buses. I would stay here again. Great value for money.

Only they are providing same breakfast every day for four days which is boring , rest all good..That also keep some fresh fruits everyday which guests can use , that was nice...

Our only complaint was the close proximity of the toilet to the bathroom door. Totally not a big deal, but that's the only complaint we could think of!

The location was perfect, right by multiple bus stops and in a quaint neighborhood that felt like home. Staff exceeded expectations and made sure we had everything we needed. Room was large but comfortable and so cute.
