Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCouple of things which are outwith the control of the apartment host but need mentioning : 1. The area outside the apartment is rough . The clydeside walk way in front of the flats was used as a meeting point for drug dealers . The area also presently has a reputation for prostitution. Something for fans of The Wire perhaps . 2. Due to a lift fault we left via the stairwell and there were young Asian girls wearing hi viz jackets sitting in the stairwell . How are they employed ? What are they doing ?
It was great getting met on arrival and having everything explained . The apartment is of the highest quality.

United StatesOur apartment had a beautiful view of the River Clyde, but the building is directly across the street from a small park where people tended to congregate starting in early afternoon until fairly late in the evening. If you wanted the balcony door open for ventilation, it could be quite noisy. There is also a fair amount of traffic noise from Clyde Street, which is also in front of the building. However, with the windows shut it is quite quiet. Also, the bedrooms are down a long hallway from the living room/kitchen, so if you close the door into the living area, it’s even quieter. Hooks in the hallway for coats or on the back of the bathroom doors would have been most welcome; it was difficult to find places for hanging a robe or keeping outdoor wear organized. This is an easy fix and I hope the apartment owners will consider adding this amenity.
We loved how spacious and comfortable the apartment was. Everything was very clean; there was some evidence of wear and tear to the living room furniture, but it wasn’t a problem. The apartment was well supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and other useful amenities. Having a combination washer/dryer was also so useful! Up on the 7th floor, there was no noise from any neighbors in the building. The apartment is easy walking distance to the Central Train station as well as a Tesco Express, so very convenient for stocking up on food for meals and snacks. Many Glasgow attractions are within in easy walking distance, and the subway station is just around the corner.

United KingdomI had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped. The manager was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to listen and assist with any questions. A friendly and professional approach.

United KingdomWe would have benefitted from a few more kitchen items- more baking trays, serving bowls - but that’s just a nice to have. Bell from the street to the apartment didn’t work
Spacious for 4 people - nice separation between bedrooms and living space so sleep not disturbed. Great views over the river

United KingdomNothing major. There was a fair bit of noise from the road at the front, and it took us a night to figure the best way to maintain heat in the living room in the evening (leave the door into the hall open , so that the thermostat logs it), but that is really being picky. We would very happily stay in the apartment again.
The apartment was spacious, with plenty of storage and was very clean. fixtures and fittings were of a excellent standard and the bed was huge and very comfy. The location, overlooking the Clyde was great, handy for everything in the centre; sites, shopping, restaurants. Communication from the management team was prompt and being personally 'checked in' and shown how everything worked, was great. Also secure parking (Q-Park) 2 mins walk away.

United StatesThe view of the police activity in response to vagrants/drug use across the street was interesting but not especially threatening.
Location was beautiful with a view of trees and the river through large wall of glass and small deck (which we did not use due to wind and temp). Closeness to some wonderful traditional old pubs (Scotia, Clutha, McScorsley) and shopping center was an unexpected bonus.

United KingdomThe building has an excellent position, looking over to the beautiful sandstone Carlton Court on the other side of the clyde and full view of the portland street suspension bridge. The early morning trains coming in an out of Glasgow Central were a treat, the snake of cars in the background heading to the southside - and a clear view of the key bridges over the clyde. The balcony provided a fascinating perspective of the city. But once the doors were closed - it was a peaceful, quiet and comfortable apartment.

The apartment was located very well for both city center and music venues, fabulous views of the Clyde and bridges especially in the evening when it was lit up. Bedrooms are set to the rear of the apartment so quiet for sleeping even with the window open.
