The room was spacious , clean and airy. Bed was comfortable and I slept like a log. Bathroom was clean with good shower and plenty of towels. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly, obliging, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much bother for them

Minor difficulty in getting drinks on last evening, when they ran out of red wine, and took rather a long time, but they explained the situation, and we enjoyed the evening regardless.

Quirky decor, interesting art on walls, pleasant staff and owner. Good breakfast, easy parking, comfortable bed.

The quality of the accommodation was super, comfortable and all the mod cons. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond showing me different room options for a future visit.

Extremely happy with our stay, room was very spacious and clean, with lots of little extras like, crisps, biscuits, hot chocolate as well as your usual tea/coffee. Breakfast was also very good and location is perfect. We will definitely stay again. Thank you

Well situated with a generous car park. Attentive staff were friendly and helpful, particularly regarding what was available in the local area. Very convenient for Chester, without the need to use the car. Breakfast was great and varied with commendable service

Inconsiderate guests not being considerate with noise late at night. Perhaps a gentle reminder to future visitors staying ,on their website ; or notices at the venue maybe. It did spoil a perfect stay on the last night, due to new people next door!!

The bathroom was very tiny and there was no full length mirror in my room. Perhaps one could be put inside the wardrobe door?

The lovely garden / courtyard right outside my room door. The fact that the room was not inside and in a corridor. I could open the door and let fresh air in .

It is a short distance to Chester centre probably 25 min if you know the canal route , having said that Hoole village is a lovely place in itself.

The minute you walk into Chester Guest you feel the love the owners have for the place, the decor is beautiful and the attention to detail is exceptional. Can't wait until the hotel side is completely finished, it will probably become our No1 place to stay in Chester.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing since no variety to choose for, and very limited service time, not ideal for long-stays.

Bed was very comfortable and clean, quiet area to have proper rest, didn't really see staff around, but all seemed nice.

Only bit was parking was a bit tight on the other car park, I've got a small call but with big SUVs in the car park and either side of the last space was tight but was able to get in, main car park bigger and better to park on.

Everything was great from start to finish, room was clean and tidy, two TVs in the room, bathroom was huge and been able to have a bath or a separate shower was great. Breakfast was amazing also Customer service great

Handy for transport into city, comfortable bed, complimentary tea/ coffee/ etc. lovely hot shower with fresh towels, Nice breakfast and lovely lady in charge. Value for money and would highly recommend. 5* from me.

Breakfast was ok but not great… no real healthy option to speak of and the staff were not particularly helpful.

The family room was lovely, well equipped with very comfortable beds.

Nothing not to like

Chester house guest house was in a fabulous location, 20 mins walk to chester and Hoole was on the doorstep, 2 mins walk to some lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. Chester house is a beautiful property, quirky ornaments, very clean, our room was absolutely lovely even a jacuzzi bath. Would definitely recommend.
