It was a bit loud at night, from the road, and very hot. Although it was the top floor in the summer, and you could partially open the windows, it was still hard to sleep well.

Very nice location, wonderful garden and amazing staff. The owner was very helpful and available for -simple- changes on short notice.

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like! You’re not right in the city center but that’s the reason it’s not as expensive. Just be prepared to take the tube for a while to see main sites.

The building itself is so pretty, especially the garden in the front! It’s very close to the tube so you can walk to it in 6 minutes. The town itself is so cute and there are numerous restaurants and shops to go to again within a 6 minute walk. The neighborhood is so cute! The room itself had plenty of towels, bathroom amenities, a fan, some breakfast snacks, a mini fridge, as well as bowls and mugs. A kettle too with tea and hot cocoa! We were also able to leave our bags after checkout so we didn’t have to carry them all day which was super appreciated.

Personally, we liked everything. I know some visitors have complained about creaky floorboards, noisy pipes and such, but don't be put off. It's an old building with lots of eccentric personality.

The Caspian was a very welcoming experience made better by the friendly team who were always engaging and helpful. The character and style of the building added greatly to our stay.

While still clean and functional, the building is in need of a refresh - this is acknowledged in the joining docs and in some ways contributes to its character. However the door locks are rather flimsy and I worried they might not resist a strong shoulder.

Superb location right opposite Ealing Broadway station, made it easy to get anywhere in London in no time. The building itself is old and full of character, and the manager was friendly and helpful. To make up for the lack of in-house breakfast, a selection of cereals and pastries was provided.

There is a long term stay, a couple who resides at the hotel. They leave their door open with the TV on very loudly till 2-3am every night. There was shared toilet upstairs that should only be used between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m per the hotel guidelines, but each night, the long-term stay at the hotel used it multiple times past midnight (every hour from 11pm to 3/4am), waking us up many times. I reminded the long term stay about the guidelines, but he didn't apologise, and continued his use of the toilet during the restricted hours. The next night at about 1am, someone tried to go into our room. I saw the doorknob turn. Luckily I had the door locked, but I was uneasy and stayed awake the whole night. I told the hotel boss the next morning and asked him to check CCTV footage, and the boss apologized and upgraded our rooms for free, which was very kind. He said he didn't know who would've tried going to our room. The next day, the long term stay confronted me saying that it was him that tried going into our room to "check" that the rooms were locked, as a "security" measure. Later that day the hotel boss confirmed that the long term stay was doing him a favour by acting as security. Overall, this place would be a 9 or 10 out of 10 once the long term stay has moved out. The hotel staff and the boss were helpful.

Gave us a free room upgrade after we had issues with a long term stay at the hotel. Had a free breakfast voucher and the hotel staff and the boss were helpful.

    Good property not for July
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Quadruple Room with Private Bathroom
    • Stayed 8 nights

The room was said to be quadruple but in fact is small and barely fits three guests. May be better removing one bed to leave more room. The shower is very small for adult size and the one need to be careful not to break the shoer or the doorglass. Toilet seat is not fresh and discoloured from beneath and smelly. The room was really hot with no AC facility we were given an extra fan but wasnt enough and because we need to leave the windows open the trafica noise is all in the room. Seems that during our stay the property is taken by single guests, the next room door is left open during the night with music playing all night

The propery is a small family business, the owner is great and very helpful, staff are nice and very supportive. Twoles, toilets rolls, drinking water and small snaks are available anytime. Location is great, just walking distance to Ealing broadway station and many bus routes are running around the location, many shops & restaurants around the place, central Londonis only 13 minutes on the Elizabeth line.

Mostly, I would have liked better communication as to what was on offer. Management went out of its way to make sure we knew the room had no ensuite bathroom, which I appreciate. But they were much less open about the fact that breakfast service has been off since the pandemic, or that parking came with a hefty fee. These are minor things that would not have pushed me to reserve elsewhere, but they were unpleasant surprises. Also, our room (the front room on the ground floor) had extremely poor lighting.

There is no longer any breakfast at this hotel. They did give us a voucher for one breakfast (on a three night stay) at a nearby cafe, but we did not end up using it.

The staff were lovely. They welcomed us in and were very kind, offering us help at any time if needed, even to find anything we needed in the neighbourhood. The facilities were lovely as well. It’s an older building but the owners understand that this isn’t for everyone so they make that clear from the very start to ensure that their guests are comfortable with the facilities before arriving. We were more than happy with it and were not bothered at all, had absolutely no issues when staying there. We came back to a tidied room every night, with breakfast prepared for the next day and even refills for water in the fridge. The location was perfect for us. It was exactly centred between Wembley where we had a concert and central London so we could explore around with our visiting friend. Bonus: there’s plenty of transport services around which was ideal for us, lots of food places and things to do! The staff also ensured we were aware that they aren’t located in central London from the moment we booked our stay as people tend to get it confused and end up staying further away from where they intended. Was not an issue for us at all. Everything was made clear through good communication even before our stay!

There was cereal in the room and a fridge, but no bowls to eat from! We did get a breakfast voucher for a local cafe, which was kind of the owner, but the cafe, Chantal, was terrible. See my review. Dear Caspian, please disassociate yourselves from this awful place!

The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was a great size. Perfect for a family of 5, which in my experience is rare.

Great rate for West London stays - with separate kids’ beds in family rooms

The en-suite was quite small and dated and the shower controls were a bit temperamental. If you’re looking for a modern Premier Inn type place this isn’t it - it’s a period building and some things need a certain technique to work eg shower, TV. But these were very minor issues for us as the beds, room and location were ideal for our purposes, at a great rate too.

The location in Outer/West London really is excellent - 2 minutes walk from Ealing Broadway station and the Elizabeth underground line - so around 20-30 minutes on the tube to get to most attractions. Big room with separate single beds for the kids, some noise from traffic but not much as it’s slightly set back from the main road. Great rate for parking.
