Perfect location with an amazing view

I was promised a family room but got a small twin. Couldn't get heater to work when my nephew got cold after being pushed over in the sea while paddling. Bathroom was tiny and I'm a larger person. Door to the bathroom hits toilet, shower door opens the same side as the sink so I had to get past the sink to get in shower.

Love how close it is to Fistral Beach but also the Newquay Land Train pickup point is just around the corner.

Great location, close to the beach. The staff were super friendly and the room was clean and cosy. The hotel features a nice lounge and the restaurant has a good selection of food. Would definitely book again when coming to Newquay.

I can't say anything bad as it's a lovely ordinary hotel with ordinary people running it and that makes you feel at home

We have just come back from 4 nights in the oceanside lifestyle hotel. We had the basic double it was clean bed was comfy and big and just rt for us as we love getting out and about. The hotel is so very near to fistral beach I mean a few minutes in fact outside in the really welcoming outside area you can see the sea. Also we enjoyed lovely weather so that meant just before bed we sat outside and there were 3 fires in the. Front tables so nice. The staff were lovely especially some of the young bar staff so chatty and helpful all staff were helpful. The hotel is not cheap but affordable in such a lovely area as I say near beach front. We are deffo going again. Can't wait

They didn’t clean our room in 3 days so don’t replenish toilet roll and tea / coffee and the beds in standard double rooms were quite uncomfortable - a bit too soft!

The bed wasn’t that comfortable and the pillows not soft enough, however that said I did sleep well and the hotel was lovely and quiet. But a softer pillow option would be good for future. The hair dryer in my room didn’t work and a replacement one didn’t work either. Hooks on the bathroom door would have been helpful. These are only small things and I really enjoyed staying here and would come back again.

Super hotel in a wonderful position on the Fistral headland. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely room with a gorgeous sea view. The moules were the best thing on the menu - delicious.

The velux windows on floor 2 could do with a good clean…I’d guess being by the sea they’re going to get grubby fairly quickly though!

The location is perfect for anyone visiting Newquay. 2 mins walk down the hill and you are on Fistral Beach…2 mins the other way and you’re in the town centre. The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is super relaxed

Didn't like the fact that the room was left unlocked after the room was serviced... we they straightened the the quilt, emptied the bin but didn't change the bag which I know as there was a sweet stuck in it that I throw away the night before, plus the "filtered" water was refilled from the bathroom tap (caught on cam)

My niece and I enjoyed how close it was to the beach but also not far from the land train too.

Location location location!! A sea view room is a must, we had a balcony allowing us to soak up those views of Fistral.

The paintwork upstairs was a little tired but that didn’t affect us at all. If we had to find a negative, that would be the only one.
