The room was quite warm, but we did have a fan which helped. The shower sounded like a steam engine struggling along the tracks.

Joy was a fantastic host who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He even provided us with a wonderful take-away breakfast for the early train which was delicious! The guest house is a short 13 minute walk from the station and very conveniently situated for restaurants and walking along the river.

This place was incredible. The owner Joy went above and beyond to be a great host and was very responsive. The rooms are gorgeous and the tub is a lovely space to spend some time after a long day touring. I can't recommend this place enough. We skipped breakfast. Easy to navigate $10 cab to the train station. Totally walkable but we had luggage and I was feeling lazy.

Well located within easy walking distance of Inverness city centre. Our room was clean and tidy with a comfortable double bed, shower etc., and offroad parking Our host was very attentive and helpful provided us with good local dining advice. Breakfast options provided were good and well prepared. A very relaxing stay.

It may be just me but I didn’t know that a “full” bed is a double.

We like everything about this guest house. It was immaculate and comfortable. The bed covers are of high quality. Joy and Elsie are the nicest hosts. Elsie cooks a hearty, healthy breakfast. Joy is responsive to any message and very helpful. This place has a very comfortable family vibe.

It was one of the most comfortable places I’d stayed in for my 8 week holiday. The road outside was a little noisy during the day.

The property was in a great location easy to get around on foot. I was greeted warmly by Joy and the large room was perfect with a comfortable bathroom and super comfy bed, I slept like a baby. It was tastefully decorated and every detail had been thought through with the comfort of guests in mind. Breakfast was amazing.

Joy, the host, was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful in every way! The property location was great - a quick 10 minute walk to the town centre, so very convenient to get to all local sites. The breakfast menu was varied and delicious. Extra points for having ground floor rooms for us seniors, lol, and on property parking. A great 3 night stay. Thanks, Joy!!

Our only complaint was that it was a little difficult to cool down the room. A fan was provided and that helped some.

It is very clean and well appointed. The area is quiet and easy to find. It is a short walk to the river and restaurants etc. Joy is friendly, responsive, and runs a great guest house. The breakfasts are fresh and delicious with plenty of variety for everyone.

We stayed in one of the garden units. It was comfortable and very quiet. The host, Joy, was super accommodating and kind. Breakfast was delicious and Joy was flexible in handling our early morning tour times. It was a short walk to the River Ness and into the center of town. It was great and I will book with Carisbrooke again if possible.
