A lovely place to end our holiday, a bit of peace and quiet before our long flight home. Maggie our host was entertaining and we enjoyed talking with her. The cabins were nice and cosy.

The style of accommodation was unique to us. It was amazing. The hut was very well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved the accompanying BBQ hut. It was perfect for cooking for ourselves. Maggie the owner was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location is peaceful and quiet, and an easy drive to Edinburgh or St Andrew’s

Beautiful setting. Compact huts but well stocked. BBQ was a great additional feature. We visited with our 9yo daughter and they could Not have been friendlier. Allowing her to help with the horses - she loved it.

There is absolutely nothing not to like about this place. Home from home.

This place is unique & quite frankly amazing. Maggie is just the nicest, friendliest lady. As we pulled up, she was straight out to welcome us & direct us to our hut. She sat with us & took time to make sure we were settled & happy with everything, answering all our questions & took time to speak to my two girls. Every morning she was down sorting the horses & my girls went to speak with her & she stood & spoke with them. They met Roberta, Maggie's sister aswell who was equally as lovely. Maggie has thought of every detail & I am so glad I chose to book here as was looking all over. Me & my girls will definitely return for another weekend. The views, the shepherds hut, the bbq hut, the well kept grounds & horses are all second to none. Thank you Maggie.

We loved everything about our stay! The hut was beautiful, the bbq was lovely and easy to use. Maggie was so helpful and very welcoming. We also loved the view of the fields and horses, so peaceful we would love to stay again!

Maggie was very friendly and helpful, an excellent host. We would highly recommend the Shepherds Huts. The indoor barbecue round house was great fun, allowing you to have a barbecue, whatever the weather.

The huts are on a farm, just outside Ballingry. It's peaceful & quiet. The grounds are immaculately kept. The huts are beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable & well thought out

We don’t really like hot tubs so chose this with the bbq hut instead. We got all out shopping and drinks for the weekend and had a great time just the two of us xx was our 2nd wedding anniversary and Maggie was the first to congratulate us, so thoughtful xx

You can feel the love that goes into the Shepherds huts and the BBQ is fantastic. Ideal for a romantic get away and for exploring the local area. Maggie is a lovely host and nothing is too much trouble. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Capledrae Farmstay Shepherds Huts. The hut was small but beautifully set up – spotlessly clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. The location is ideal for exploring – with easy trips to Edinburgh, St Andrews, Loch Leven, and the lovely coastal towns such as Anstruther and Crail. The host, Maggie, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, and the fantastic BBQ hut is a real highlight – perfect for all Scottish weather! A peaceful and well-thought-out base for a couple or small family. Would definitely recommend.

Maggie was a great host, location short drives to many things to see Big sell for us was the BBQ hut which was easy to use and a great place to sit around to have a meal even if not using it to cook.

The shepherds hut was small but perfectly formed. It’s a great location for visiting Edinburgh and the East Neuk. Maggie the host is very friendly and is on hand should you need anything

Maggie, Sophie and Roberta were all fantastic hosts. We loved how secluded the accommodation was and all of the special touches (name of huts etc) The horses were an added bonus and loved by our toddler! Accommodation was exceptionally clean and all finished to an extremely high standard. The BBQ hut was also a hit! We look forward to returning again in the future! Thank you so much for making a birthday stay even more special!
