The beds were very Noisy. We could hear the couple above us in the first room we had having some fun ( Could hear bed banging against the wall ). When we had to move to a different room on Saturday tea time due to a blocked toilet we heard the guests next door going at it about 5 times during the night !! ( Again bed banging ). Might be something to be looked at

Bed like a trampoline. Room very dated. Bathroom tiles needed a vigorous clean. Mold on ceiling. Shower gel dispenser empty. TV remote faulty...could not turn off tv had to unplug tv to achieve this. Noise from guests in adjoining room suggested thin walls. Pillows too soft, like marshmallows

A stench of cigarette smoke in the room. The 2 doors at the entrance seemed odd and pointless when only 1 is required. The bed was hard and not particularly comfortable. Part of accommodation had an old fashioned fell with the wooden cabinets and heavy doors.

Plenty of space in the room, suffient storage for my clothes and the bathroom was nice and clean. The carpet tidy. The tea making facilities were good.

The beds were uncomfy and have come back with itchy skin not sure if it’s bed bugs or the beds not being clean and I’ve caught scabies from this place but don’t think I would return for that reason 😬

Deck access, so you have to keep the curtains closed if you want privacy. (Though actually only one couple came past, quietly, to get to their room.)

Good size room, everything worked (though I didn't try the TV). Openable window, quiet night. Very close to the station and bus stop, easy walk to the bridge and the delights of downtown Runcorn (such as they are.)

Tv wouldn't work prob remote control batteries but I was tired so didn't complain. They had staff problems so cooked breakfast was off but still got continental breakfast so that was ok

The hotel is definitely a budget hotel, it is in need of some updating, the worst thing but of course cannot be controlled by the hotel, is it is right under the approach path for Liverpool Airport, so VERY noisy when planes are landing.

easy to find location, ground floor room as travelling with dog and dog allowed in the bar area, staff were very friendly and helpful and there is plenty of parking at a reasonable charge.

As a lone traveler I don’t feel particularly safe and secure at the hotel .. would like to see chain locks on the door for added security as the doors are on an open. Access deck

Surroundings very run down. Rat/mouse traps in evidence on surrounding grounds. Could have done with signs on main road. Only one very small sign which was hardly noticeable.

Bed comfortable. Telly worked. Clean toilet and shower. Instant hot water. Plenty of tea coffee etc.

Could do with a small fridge for milk and food and a fan in the rooms for the warmer months, one staff member seems to be continually rude though, stayed a couple of times now and she has been rude both times. And had an accusation thrown at us by cleaning staff who where quite aggressive, if only they where as aggressive with the cleaning…

It's a budget hotel, but despite this it's well maintained and very friendly staff

Room was a bit draughty, not much comfort in the reception, restaurant. Seems to be directly underneath the flight path for Liverpool airport as planes go overhead fairly frequently.
