Nothing to do with the cottage. The roads are shocking on Islay feel for the residents of the beautiful island. And the Rangers boat out front was a shock. But that's coming from an Aberdeen fan 😉

The cottage was easy to find and was very central in it's location. Would love to book the cottage again soon

Only thing that let it down slightly was that the bedrooms just didn’t have the appeal like the rest of the house, really struggled trying to do hair and makeup in the double room as there was no where to put your stuff , even a shelf below the mirror would have helped, there was an extension but my straighteners still didn’t reach to see in the mirror, single bedroom needs some TLC this did not spoil our holiday in any way it’s just a preference .

there was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

The property was in a lovely Village, and close the things that we wanted to do. Had plenty of room for our family of four, the host Mary was super kind. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would love to come back again, the kitchen was also amazing! And had everything imagine needing!

The 9:00 checkout time was a little early for us. A 10:00 departure would have made our last morning there less stressful. Small price to pay for the lovely accommodation though.

Ideal location in a lovely setting and just a 2 minute walk from a world class distillery. The cottage was spacious, beautifully finished and had everything we could hope for to make it a wonderful holiday😊

I found it too dark round the back where the car was parked, back light was a bit iffy (sorry)

The cottage was well equipped, the location was fab watched seals swimming in Loch Indaal when I had breakfast in the sunroom, it was welcoming, cosy and just perfect. What can I say about the bed except, where did you get the pillows and duvet from lol? The bed was soooooooo comfortable!!!!

Minor problem with back door lock, self locking but we were informed of this and it didn't cause us any difficulties. Other issues - the shower was more of a tepid trickle but there was a notice to tell us why - because the storage heater controls were illuminated we assumed they were turned on and only later realised that the power had to be turned on separately

Bathroom was very poor. Lighting dreadful, shower cubicle tiny - I even had to stand outside the shower to wash my hair. Lots of signs around the cottage telling you not to do things!
