The food and waiting staff were both very good.

The bedrooms and other areas of the hotel require upgrading. The stay was not the standard we expected for the price.

The staff were friendly

It was a very hot room & if you opened the windows for air, the midgies would come in. The carpet felt very dirty.

The breakfast was perfect for our needs.

We arrived late and missed dinner. At least crisps were available for purchase.

Breakfast limited - no fruit available my partner prefers fruit in mornings - the Scottish breakfast was VG

First visit to Mull. Decided against self-catering as shops few and far between. What a great find. Bunessan is an excellent location to visit Iona( we had a car) Fantastic hospitality here. Bedroom a good size. Food great: with GF options. Evening meals excellent. Breakfast very good. Lovely view from dining room. Thank you

Plenty of hot water but shower room a bit on the small side.

Big room with an amazing view! The food at the pub downstairs was excellent — a real bonus to have such tasty meals just a few steps away from our room!

The only downside was the mattress — we could really feel the springs, so it might be time for an upgrade.

Breakfast was good.

We were informed upon checking in that a live event was on the following evening, and that if we wanted a meal, to eat early. As our plans involved us being out all day and coming home late, this was not possible. The live event went on quite late and we could hear the bass in our room. Not the best thing. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Decor was 'tired'. A HUGE green lit up sign notifying of the fire exit did not make for a good night's rest.

Fabulous location. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and management. Food was good and views from the restaurant are lovely.

Beer choice very limited - as a result the hotel owner kindly drove us to a real ale pub in the next village. World class customer service!!!

Poor facilities, very tired looking staircase and hallways.

A great location. Good food and very accommodating staff. The chef stayed on as we were delayed arriving.

Room was a decent size, scenic location not far from Iona.

Breakfast poor if one chose a non-cooked breakfast. Bed needs replacing. Curtains could be better as they let in so much light (and sunrise was 0400). Annoying emergency light on all night and right in front of the bed (in entrance ). Annoying room door rattled all the time (had to wedge it shut to stop it at night). Neigbouring/opposing room door closing was on the richter scale. Ulimately, the £222 was a lot for what it was for one night.

The building is beautiful

The room was antiquated. Beds very soft, comforters dis not look clean. Food was terrible - it was overall disappointing experience - rated highly on Booking.com but NOT as represented!

Pleasant stay in a very convenient location. Large room. Hosts helpful and friendly.

Dinner indifferent

Alison was very welcoming and first class. Nothing was any bother to them.

Clean and comfortable. Friendly and accomodating staff. Wholesome food with ample size meals. Handy location to bus stop local shop.

Mattress was awful and the cost of the room was extortionate value. Sunday food was dry and over cooked.
