Came for my girlfriends birthday. Lovely artwork, comfortable rooms with amazing decor, great restaurant options in an amazing location. Staff went out of their way to leave a lovely birthday card which was a nice touch. Would definitely come again!

The wall need new paint broken toilet seat in the room

recently stayed at The Bull and overall, it was a lovely experience. The staff were amazing—friendly, helpful, and really made us feel welcome. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the food was absolutely fantastic, especially the pizza! The only thing that let the experience down slightly were a few minor maintenance issues…some paint chips on the walls and a broken toilet seat in my room. Considering the amount I paid for the stay, I expected those details to be in better condition. Aside from that, everything else was great, and I would definitely consider staying again for the great atmosphere and excellent service.

There is no parking. Free parking is available about a 10 minute walk away. We dropped our bags off with reception before parking.

Right in the centre of the lovely town of Burford. The hotel is a very old building which has been renovated in a modern and tasteful style. Dinner in the restaurant was very good as was the breakfast.

Being a big guy I felt very restricted sitting at a small table in the main restaurant. Beer selection was limited and not to my taste but that’s just personal preference as food was very good. Air-con was ok but weak flow. Bed needs better pillows that are more supportive.

No lift may be an issue for some. Might be good to offer breakfast on the terrace in the summer - breakfast area is a little dark. No safe in the room.

Beautifully renovated and decorated. Quirky. In town centre. Parking nearby. Fabulous food at restaurant Wild. Great cocktails. Great coffee in the room and fabulous art. Very friendly attentive staff - especially the bartender. Very spacious bathroom.

Needed a bit of tlc especially in bathroom. All hooks were loose and several fell out of wall. Back of loo seat chipped and broken. Not big issues but for the money should be sorted.

You expect to pay more for drinks at a hotel but prices are not for the faint hearted.

Service was generally very good and rooms were beautiful - and included air conditioning which given the warm weather was a real bonus.

Beautiful rooms, loved the fact our room was over two floors it worked really well with the kids. Food in the restaurant was fantastic and location was ideal.

The rooms were quite small due to the age of the building and there’s no TV which was fine for us but others may prefer

Location was great with gorgeous decor. We dined at Wild which was a brilliant experience! Lovely breakfast and friendly team. Beautiful village with wonderful shops
