Room and staff. Good selection of lagers in the bar.

Only had 1 sachet of real coffee in the room. Not enough for the morning after. Breakfast was a haphazard affair. Food plentiful and very nice. Coffee very hard to get hold of, as was the brown sauce. One bottle for the entire restaurant, so we had to move it from table to table. One person checking guests in and in charge of the coffee and tea distribution is not a good idea. Please change to a 'help yourself' system for beverages asap. These little things spoiled what was a very pleasant stay.

It was convenient for a party we were attending nearby

Although a step up from a Travelodge, it’s a little bit tired. The breakfast was overcooked and greasy and some of the trays of breakfast items had not been topped up.

Good parking. Convenient location. Willing staff. Relatively quiet. Nice supply of Tea, milk, soap etc.

Left some clothing behind when checking out and staff couldn't have been more helpful in reuniting me with it. Great service

The room was very clean and bed well made. The room was quiet. It appears that most of the cheaper rooms are in a converted external outbuilding but they were fine.

There is really little to complain about.

Electric spaces available for vehicle. Restaurant and bar downstairs is great and has delicious food. Archie in the bar was super attentive as was the receptionist.

Good have been better. Coffee served in small cups and not very hot .Had to ask for dish of scrambled egg to be topped up. Ran out of Danish Pastries. No indication that you could ask for fried eggs. Generally bit inattentive staff

Great breakfast, fresh coffee and fresh eggs upon request. Great staff, reception staff was amazing and sorted our room. Late checkout when requested.

They firstly provided a room above the pub, which was terrible, small, tired, with cobwebs. Nothing like the pictures on booking website. We brought this to reception and they upgraded us (or changed us to a room more likely to their pictures). So sorted us for a great weekend.

Staff in restaurant, one good, one miserable. messy areas with bins on view and slightly unkept appearance. really unkept area behind rooms which makes for a lovely view outside your bedroom window. scary looking institutional wetroom
