Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomOne room was very warm, a hot pipe runs through it. We had a big day with an early start and the warmth (in the middle of summer) disrupted sleep. I rang a while before our arrival to explain we were attending a graduation ceremony and had to be at Durham Cathedral at 7am and would be missing breakfast in the dinig room, & asking if we might be able to have a breakfast tray. I was told not. A few days later I mentioned again when I rang to check details of booking and was told I may be able to have a continental breakfast, but that the staff member would have to get back to me to provide a price (less than the full cooked rate). I decided not to bother and grabbed some pastries from the local Co-op. As this must be a regular occurrence, staff guessed we were there for graduation when I said we'd miss breakfast, it would be much better if there were an option to have a light breakfast left available.
Rooms comfy, good selection of beverages. Staff very pleasant.

United KingdomThe double beds were standard doubles which made for a really uncomfortable stay for my husband and I. The hotel feels like it's been plonked in the middle of a housing estate (while obviously the estate grew up around it). Zero attempt to landscape it in.
The breakfast was good and the dining space was pleasant. The twin rooms were comfortable.

United KingdomWe ordered room service and the food was truly some of the worst we've ever had, we ended up leaving it almost entirely untouched and it set us back nearly £40. The couch in the room had stains on the cushions so we were uncomfortable sitting on it. The bed sheets also had minor stains too. Overall a comfortable little cute place for a night or two but could use some improvements.
The full size shower and bath were great, as was the massive TV.
