single bed was really narrow Blinds not great at keeping light out. Soundproofing not great both from street or guests coming and going in the night.

Great location - right next to Botanic station, under 20 mins walk to city centre and Grand Central - Windsor Park is walking distance and you could go from City Airport to room in 30 mins. Many shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep Tea and coffee in room Good shower Good TV

There was nothing that I disliked about the accommodation.

I was looking for last minute accommodation to stay over in Belfast following my participation in the Belfast Marathon. Hotels were at a premium for the night, but the Botanic Rest stood out on Booking.com as it had accommodation that suited my needs and at a very reasonable price, and there were plenty of toilet/shower facilities within the building for sharing. A simple single room that was fitted out with everything that I could need for my short stay, and from my Queen's student days, I knew that it was situated in a very nice part of the city within walking distance of the city centre but with good public transport links on the doorstep. There were also plenty of cafes, diners, and bars in the immediate vicinity for food, drinks, and entertainment. I was not aware of the Botanic Rest before, but I will certainly check out its availability in future when I plan to stay over in Belfast.

Central location. Very clean accommodation en suite for very good rate. Functional for what we wanted. One edge side of mattress was a bit sloped but bed was v comfortable. Would stay there again. Tea/coffee, toast & some cereal available for self service breakfast in clean breakfast room beside reception.

Stayed here for one night with my friend. The twin room was small but perfect for our needs. The room was warm and very clean. The beds, although a little soft for my liking, were nonetheless comfortable. The ensuite, although small was adequate and had hot water. The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants and bars close by and regular buses into the centre. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Although they don't advertise breakfast there was toast and cereal and tea and coffee available in the morning. A nice touch to keep you going until you get to a cafe. Although the milk was a little off the morning I was there. I would definitely stay here again.

Place is a bit run down. Door was quite difficult to close due to carpet floor, so need a little bit more push.

Quiet neighborhood. Guys from the reception was helpful and friendly. Surprised to have a light breakfast for free before I check-out.

The location is perfect for my travel needs! I felt like the room needed better planning. There was no bedside table, I didn't mind charging my devices on the outlets that were set far from the bed (inconvenient but tolerable), however, when lying in bed, there was nowhere to set down my water bottle, phone, or book for easy access. The room was clean, beds tidy - on my last visit the pillow was horrible; I had better luck this time but I do wish that any twin bed come with two pillows (the headboard isn't padded so you'd like the extra comfort when watching TV and/or if you need extra neck support whilst sleeping, which I do). The receptionist was fantastic, I'd give him ten stars! The key fob entry is great, I feel very safe, and overall, very satisfied!! 😊

Room was far TOO warm and light over the mirror did not work. Not the fault of our landlords but the Botanic quarter can be very noisy on a weekend.

Excellent shower and clean towels every day. Staff very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the coffee and tea making facilities.Location perfect and we had no trouble parking the hire car.

The shower in the room was very basic, and you had to hand hold the shower head to complete your shower. It refused to stay on the wall. It was also a little on the small side. It was hower en suite as described As I said for a three night stay, it did suit our needs

It was very clean and couldn't fault the cleanliness. Very close to all amenities, it suited our needs as a place to sleep as we were visiting Family close by.
