We liked the layout, the cleanliness and the safety precautions of the cottage. We enjoyed the garden and sitting area with the frequent visitation of a host of bird species including red kite. The cottage has car parking adjacent and the WiFi reception is good. The bed is spacious and comfortable and the facilities are excellent throughout. The cottage is close to several tourist spots including The Crawick Multiverse, and Drumlanrig Castle.

Monday morning traffic could be heard on the road outside, however I would imagine it would be a lot quieter on a weekend with less traffic passing by.

On route to isle of Arron and needed a night's stay in-between. This place was easy to find, easy to park and convenient. We did a 2 miles walk round the river bend which was just enough to stretch the legs. It was a clean property with everything we needed for the night

The couch was nice n big but not very comfortable, no neck support. The location was good to get around & for walks but with it being right on the main road was a bit noisy with traffic & wouldn't really be too nice to be sitting out in the sun with the big lorries whizzing by.

Everything we needed was provided. Good facilities, great shower, comfy big bed. Good info on walks & surrounding areas, dog friendly places to eat. Was all very helpful as 1st trip away with our pup. Communication beforehand & details for our arrival were great. Parking spot for cottage also v handy.

Literally the one thing was the bed. It dipped in the middle which wasn't great. But that's literally all out of an amazing home away from home

Ultra clean. Cosy. So many things in the kitchen thought of and provided. Very very good

Really busy road outside the cottage. Had to turn the TV volume up. The bedroom was to the back so that was quiet.

Nice and cosy cottage, looks bigger than in the photos. Had a lovely stay.
