We were made very welcome. Easy walking distance to town and the Stadium of Light. Triple room was comfortable and spacious. Nicely stocked kitchen for tea/coffee/cold breakfast. Nice price

Slight road noise as my room was on the road side but that’s a personal thing and might not bother everyone.

Riverside location lovely. Close to city centre. Rooms nicely decorated. Breakfast help yourself was unexpected and very welcome. Host was great.

Nothing to do with the hotel but the seagulls are so noisy early in the morning’

Quirky little hotel, lovely and clean and comfortable. Wasn’t expecting a communal kitchen with lots of breakfast items available, nice touch!

The only down side for us was the walk into the town centre- a wee bit far for what we wanted so we ended up taking taxis. However, I really wanted to try this location as the view was stunning, and it is also nice and peaceful.

View on the terrace was stunning. Facilities were brilliant, great to have a kitchen which was stocked with bread, butter jam, tea, coffee, milk and cereals- everything you need for breakfast! The owners were both lovely.

Nothing bad just stairway is a bit precarious but nothing they can do about that due to the age of the building.

Lovely spacious and tidy room and self service breakfast is a real bonus! Free car parking.
