Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A modern and well appointed restaurant offered a wide range of breakfast options. The wine and nibbles in the late afternoon were quite nice.

If I have to make one minor criticism it is only that the bathroom was a little impractical, too much marble slippery floor and not enough places to hold onto Bath etc or to put things…
Enjoyed breakfast when we had it plenty choice Reception staff and the two gentlemen who were so helpful every tonne we wanted to go anywhere, they looked after us fantastically well!

We were generously upgraded to the penthouse, and it was beyond incredible. The space was pure luxury, featuring a private outdoor terrace, a jacuzzi, a huge and beautifully designed living area, and even a fully equipped kitchenette. NetherlandsHmm, disappointed in the Salon Bar usage. The previous visit (many years ago) this area was a vibrant area to socialise, with a cocktail bar but it’s like a ghost town on that floor now and needs attention. I also didn’t appreciate booking.com suggesting you could add an evening meal for £45 per stay only to find the hotel staff didn’t have a clue about this, it made for an uncomfortable check-in.
The spa, the service was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious too.
