Very little. I don’t like Vanilla or cherry yoghurt - which were two of the three choices in offe.

Very good. A perfectly adequate continental breakfast.

A Wonderful Stay at The Guest House" The Guest House is a lovely place to stay—just a short drive from Birmingham Airport, making it very convenient for travelers. The room was spotlessly clean and exceptionally quiet, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. What truly made the experience stand out was Ms. Jane—warm, kind, and incredibly attentive. Her hospitality made me feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Breakfast? A fridge full of food, take whatever you want. Beautiful, quiet location, excellent bus connections to the city center.

I have no complaints, the host provided me with herbal tea as I don't drink tea or coffee, I don't get that level of service at a hotel, so was really impressed.

I was greeted with a warm welcome. The host showed me my storage section in the fridge should I wish to store my own food which I didn't need as the breakfast was more than adequate for my needs. The information pack was one of the best I've ever seen and better than any 5* hotel information pack.

We initially chose Blythewood because it was close to the motorway and the NEC,this was our second stay with Jane and her family, the setting is in a quiet area with easy access to shops and eateries, breakfast is help yourself when you get up which is great if you need to be away early,I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

There was nothing we didn't like, which is why we stay there regularly.

It is our preferred location when visiting NEC and we have stayed there several times now. Being only 10 minutes from NEC and easy to find is also an added bonus. Also, being in Coleshill means there are places to eat within walking distance.

Well situated for the NEC, just a 10 min drive away. It was clean, comfortable and had a well stocked breakfast room where we were welcome to eat in the evening with take out menus supplied. Plenty of parking and the village has some nice little shops. The en-suite room was very comfortable and had everything I could need.

Lock/key setup a bit antiquated and could perhaps stand for an update.

Comfy, clean room. Pleasant and responsive innkeeper who does not hover but was available when needed. Kitchen/fridge stocked with essentials. We really had a great stay here for our purposes as a traveling team for business. We look forward to returning!

Signage, there is a large board on the perimeter wall but coming from Coleshill you won't see it. I ended up staring into a police speed camera lens in the lay-by 200m further on, this could only happen to me!

Breakfast is continental, self service with a well stocked fridge. I enjoyed a variety of fruit and yogurt. The breakfast room is open 24/7 and guests are welcome to eat there in the evening. There are shops and a supermarket within a 5 minute walk. Being on my own and sat down (car/ the NEC) all day I walked to a local item of interest, mentioned in the guest information. Sadly it wasn't as described and when I commented, Patricia responded with commendable speed and redrafted the information pack. I hardly dare mention that RHK Dreamers (a marvellous Bangladeshi restaurant) has closed since my last visit.

Cozy and very pleasant place. The advantages include: silence, beautiful surroundings and a nice owner. I prepared breakfast myself, having a fully equipped kitchen and a full fridge. I sincerely recommend this place! Honestly, everything was fine. In case of any problems, I was able to contact the owner via WhatsApp.
