Blarcreeen is a place of peace. It is not just an accommodation, it was kind of our home for those days. Deidre and David were extremely social, helpful and kind, which made our stay even more special. We have never experienced such a warm welcome anywhere else. I do not know if it is needed to talk about breakfast itself, because obviously it was not just the food, but the surroundings that made it so perfect - looking at the sheeps at the yard and enjoying the lovely room, just magical. And if you fancy, they can organise a fantastic dinner for you that you even can spend with some of the other guests if you are keen on making some nice, new friends. We encourage everyone who stays at Blarcreen to slow down and stay there a bit, read in the living room and enjoy the crackling wood in the fireplace or just walk down to the pond, because this is what we think Scotland and a holiday is really about. Just skip some of your "must see's" and just enjoy yourselves. :) Thanks again, we go back next time without any doubt!

I tried hard to write anything negative, but I just simply cannot. :)

We traveled Scotland for 17 days and stayed here for 3 nights. It was my favorite place. Beautiful setting, stellar service, great breakfasts and extremely nice hosts. Excellent in every way.

I liked it all. For those who can't climb stairs, the 2nd story bedrooms might be harder to get to. And it is out in the country side.

The house is a true jewel nestled in the beautiful Argyll countryside, offering stunning views of nearby Loch Etive and surrounding fields, where sheep graze peacefully and wild deer sometimes make an appearance. There are four beautifully furnished bedrooms, each more charming than the last, along with a cozy dining area where a delicious, home-cooked breakfast is served. The inviting living room is perfect for relaxing with a good book, playing board games, or having lovely conversations with the host and other guests. The area around the house is ideal for leisurely walks, with opportunities to spot wildlife, take refreshing swims in the loch, or enjoy short hikes along picturesque rivers. The host is a wonderful and attentive woman who goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need, adding thoughtful touches and amenities that make the stay truly special.

It’s difficult to find anything negative to say about my stay. If I had to mention one thing, it would be the Wi-Fi speed, which could sometimes not be the fastest. However, it’s comparable to what you might expect in most homes and does not impact the experience.
