A super hotel with very friendly and helpful management and staff. Our room was magnificent, overlooking the main street but no noisy. The hotel no longer serves dinner but the staff were most helpful in recommending places to eat that were very close by.

Some may say it’s an old building but I wouldn’t say that made it any less like lovely.

It was in the town centre so easy to walk around the town, close to the sights, beach, cafes, castle and the old gaol. The very comfy bed and aesthetics of beautiful traditional furniture in my room. I loved the scented roses at the breakfast table. 💐Car parking at the back too.

I just found the very high beds a bit odd. I think that elderly patrons would find them hard to get into and out of.

Great location and welcome when we arrived. Loved the ice machine! The on-site parking was very much appreciated.

Only because of my current medical conditions I would have preferred a room no higher than the first floor, but no real problem.

The property is an old building on 3 floors. Very comfortable with excellent staff. Very handy car park to the rear. Hotel very well placed on the high street & very close to the promenade. Breakfast was of a very high quality & the evening meal was excellent!

We had an attic room & it was difficult to stand up!. Bathroom was tiny & the door to shower didn't close & bathroom door didn't close either. This room, though quaint, clearly needs an upgrade!

Location was good & parking available. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice & table service.

Nothing! Except that I couldn't stay longer :(

STAFF are so down-to-earth and can't do enough for you. Special mentions go to: - Tracey, who checked me in & made me feel welcome, served me breakfast and went out of her way to chat to me when she realised I was travelling alone.- Melanie who checked me out, made sure I'd enjoyed my stay and posted my smart watch charger back home to me free of charge when I left it behind. Great team who really care! DOG-FRIENDLY rooms are available (with a £10.50 charge), dogs can sit with you for breakfast in the bar (always appreciated!) and water bowls are around downstairs. Tracey made extra effort with my dog Hector and even offered to hold his lead whilst I got my things out of the car. Truly dog-lovers. There are also areas for other guests to sit separately from dogs if they prefer this, too. PROPERTY: beautiful building from the outside and the decor inside was like staying in a much more expensive boutique hotel! I really liked that the sink was separate and next to the sash window. It made me feel like I was a grand lady visiting a country house! After staying at different hotels on previous nights of my trip, this was the best night's sleep I had. I felt so cosy in my bed and didn't want to leave! FOOD: Breakfast was delicious, though, so it was worth getting up for that! Gluten-free sausage and gluten-free toast were available, which I ate safely and enjoyed immensely. Proper coffee from a cafetiere and juice offered alongside this. I had been told upon booking that the restaurant at the hotel wouldn't be available for meals when I visited and also reminded again a week before travelling. I was given helpful suggestions of nearby places that I could eat instead. One of which was the Liverpool Arms next door, who again had gluten-free options. I really appreciated this heads up. LOCATION: Beaumaris is beautiful! The hotel is in a prime location just a few minutes' walk to the seafront, pier, and the castle.

Older property but suited the village. Great breakfast, evening meal in restaurant was outstanding. Super friendly team !!! Can’t fault anything about our stay at the hotel. I asked for 2 single quilts and got a positive answer but not there. Just one big one. The road is quite busy so if you have the top bedroom facing the street it can be a bit noicy. Coffee could be a bit stronger....

The top bedroom was small and with low ceiling, no surprice because they told us what to expect. Very cosy, comfy bed, querky interior, but charming. Staff amazing, breakfast great with fresh juice etc. Overall mostly happy with the stay. Can recommend.

In need of a bit of decoration and updating, but not sure this is a bad point. Staying in a place that is in keeping with the area is a good point.

A great hotel for a week’s stay on holiday. Breakfast cooked to order. Room spacious and well maintained. An old building, but this is its’ charm. Staff were great, helpful and took an interest.

I loved the location, but most of all, I was very impressed with how helpful Hazel the proprietor was before and during my stay. I needed an extra night stay, but unfortunately, she was completely booked, but she assisted me in finding another accommodation using her local knowledge. I was on a walking holiday with a group, and it's normal practice to have a final evening meal together. I had forgotten to bring a handbag for the occasion. I mentioned this to Hazel and asked where I could purchase one locally. To my surprise, she offered to lend me one of hers by trying to match with my outfit. Not only did Hazel turn up with one handbag, but with three for me to choose from, I was truly amazed at her selfless kindness. Also, I asked for an earlier breakfast as each morning I had to meet my walking group, and for this, Hazel always ensured that her staff was able to accommodate this request. I would surely recommend Bishopsgate, and should I be visiting that part of Wales, I would not hesitate to stop there again.
