I loved everything about the property. They have thought of everything a traveler would want and need. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were the best so far of the trip.

    All great, no worries!

The Binnilidh Mhor B&B is wonderful! The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delightful! The bed was extremely comfortable, possibly the best night sleep on our trip! The location is great if you're planning on heading up to Skye it's not too far away for a day trip.

It’s a little way from anything but that’s nice

Alan and Sheila went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculately clean and large and the bed very comfortable. There was a fridge, tea and coffee, fans, USB ports, an iron , a hairdryer and toiletries . Breakfast was fabulous.

There were no areas where an improvement could be made.

Centrally located for touring the Highlands, this property was beautifully fitted out with all modern facilities. Breakfast was exceptional and our hosts could not have been more welcoming. In a six-day motoring tour, this was stand-out and is highly recommended.

    Nothing to dislike.

We had a great stay, Sheila and Allan were wonderful hosts and provided all the needed information beforehand and during our stay. Our experience was rounded off by a wonderful breakfast (one of the best Full Scottish breakfasts I had on our trip!). As noted, the location is a bit off the beaten track (easy to find though) but that just makes for an unbelievably tranquil experience. PS: the shower is amazing.

I can not think about anything that could be better. If you’re looking for a cost home base out of the city for a couple days to explore around, search no more!

This stay will forever set the bar really high for our BnB stays. It’s all we ever wanted: Sheila and Allan are so welcoming and their conversations are so interesting. They made sure right away that we felt very comfortable, and their attention to details is unmatched. The breakfast was delicious and they are so easy to talk about accommodations like gluten free. The house is spotless and so clean. We felt like we were visiting family. The location of the house was a perfect home base for our couple days of exploring around (Inverness, fort Williams, glen Affric, working sheepdogs, isle of Skye…) it was so convenient and we were looking forward to come back every night to our cosy stay. They know the area really well and are so resourceful with great recommendations. We will remember the restaurant in the hotel 10 minutes away for a long time. I can’t believe they do not charge more for the room, as I felt like it was a luxurious stay. We stayed in other BnB close by and the experience was completely different, more like a fast and cheap stay, nothing like here. I think anybody visiting Scotland needs to spend a couple nights here. We will be back! Thank you so much for everything

I have never written a review where there wasn't something to criticize or suggest. This is the first time. This couple is doing it right. Their care is evident everywhere... seriously.

Where to begin. This is truly an exceptional property run by exceptional people. The care taken is evident in every aspect of your stay. From the mini-fridge in your room with chilled milk for your morning coffee to the little Summer House out back to relax in after checkout, this was a place to remember. Breakfast is served around a square table causing the guests to interact with each other. Allen and Shiela have designed it this way because they believe it's important to feel comfortable in their "home away from home" and want to encourage interaction. Breakfast was sumptuous, room was thoughtfully appointed (even had USB outlets!), they have thought of everything so you don't have to! I could go on and on about this special place.

Nothing can’t sing their praises enough.

Everything - truely amazing room and hosts. It is their home too. Modern facilities in room as in filter kettle, fridge, coffee machine. Fully stocked with coffee pods/tea bags etc with fresh milk in the fridge and bottles of water. USB sockets, Wi-Fi, tv. Choice of breakfasts and whether to have in your room or at shared table. We had continental in our room it was massive with fresh fruit salad, croissants, butter, jam, berries, yogurt, muesli. A lot is home made and tastes delicious. It is in a very rural location but hosts provide very exact directions and are very friendly and approachable. Beautiful setting and saw deers on the drive at 6am when I woke up. Great location for Loch Ness and surrounding areas.

My husband and I stayed here for three decadent nights. We love being able to settle in and explore an area without having to check in and check out everyday. The bed and breakfast was exceptional. We love being able to see popular local without having to deal with tons of tourists. Binnilidh was a great choice to visit Loch Ness, the Black Isle and Isle of Skye. They gave us back routes that were so scenic that we never would have found. Breakfast was outstanding and so delicious.

    Nothing.

Originally, we had planned to spend 3 nights at 3 different places in the highlands. It was crazy! Then we found the Binnilidh Mhor B&B and made it our hub for all our highland's days. We really loved everything. The rooms are large and well kept. The bathrooms are huge compared to your average UK wc. Sheila and Allan are really nice people and will do their best to make your stay easy. The breakfast is made to order by Allan and was a wonderful start to our days. We will definitely stay again when we get the chance to come back.
