The cleanliness could have been better. Dust on the lamp shades and skirting, stain on one of the curtains, found a couple of pins in the carpet (which one went into my toe), loose floor tiles in the bathroom and the grouting in the show needed cleaning .

The staff are fantastic, they are talkative, informative and polite. They had a good rapport with customers. The cooked breakfast was delicious and they have a wide selection of drinks behind the bar

The extra fold out bed they provided was collapsing a little in the middle but everything else was amazing.

Really friendly staff that phone called me before check in ti make sure all was ok. He was very kind (named Luke) and gave us all info we needed plus friendly chat. The room was so comfy and felt luxurious especially for the price! Everywhere was spotless. The breakfast was really nice too and wonderful location especially as we were using the train station (opposite) the next day.

location is great although lots of homeless hang around outside at night the staff are lovely, the rooms feel cosy and homely, they are not lavish or luxury but comfortable and very pleasant, the room also had a fan to keep the room cool, the breakfast was more than enough, bed comfortable, shower works well, VERY happy, will stay again

Very warm welcome from friendly staff who could not be more helpful, very clean rooms. Specifically booked this for the location near Train station for an overnight stay at work. From the excellent description it fully met my expectations for £80 per night including Breakfast. For the price it represents fantastic value for you for money, again extremely friendly staff on at breakfast and departure. Would I stay here again and save £'s in comparison to a "chain hotel" around the corner or close by , absolutely! Would recommend it will not hesitate to book again.

I messaged ahead to ask about vegan options, and just a couple of very easy tweaks would have made my breakfast nicer, like having clear labelling of what I could/couldn't have, and some margarine for toast.

Great for the price. Room was clean and comfortable, shared bathrooms were clean and had good water pressure, although there was a little bit of waiting on other people to finish their showers at points.

Little problem with the shower door as it wouldn't close at all in the bathroom.

Staff were wonderful and so friendly and helpful with plenty of recommendations, entire hotel was clean and tidy and the room met our requirements for the short stay we had. There was a nice continental breakfast as part of our booking which the staff kept topped up, we didn't try the hot breakfast though.
