Could benefit from blackout blinds. Unfortunately sound travels. Toilet to eco. Bathroom door layout

Bed was extremely comfy, lots of pillows. Very central. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Shower room and furniture in my remote were not suited in the small room. Too big and pointless.

Staffs were friendly and helpful. Especially Laura who did everything to make sure the heater in my room was fixed before I ‘d got backed in the evening.

Excellent hosts, always available on site (gave us great tips on where to eat & drink), we had a downstairs room (no stairs for us), clean room & very comfortable bed. Short, flat pleasant walk to Central Station, city centre & the Cathedral (and beyond to the Quay)

This accommodation is very well situated in the centre of town and close to both railway stations - well within walking distance. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Tea and coffee available in reception. Quiet outside area for customer relaxation.

Great stay at the hotel, ideal location close to the station and town etc. Staff were friendly and super helpful. We stayed in room 17, it was lovely however the glass door to the bathroom could be frosted as not much privacy. We had a great stay and will be back again soon.

Unfortunately there was obvious mold at the edges of the bathtub. Other than that it would have been perfect.

Cozy, comfortable room, outstandingly helpful and friendly staff, complimentary coffee in the lobby, quiet residential street.

The walls are quite thin, but thankfully the people staying in the room next door were quiet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and had a good selection of teas, coffee and biscuits. The hotel is in a quiet area and it was easy to get to where we wanted to go from there. The staff were also happy to look after ours bags after checkout.

Bath slightly grim looking but really wasn’t a problem as didn’t want a bath!!! Wouldn’t stop us from going back again.

Amazing location so close to everything and Exeter Central station. Large bed with private ensuite with everything we could ask for. Really lovely stay.

We only needed a room for one night in Exeter and wouldn’t have time for breakfast before our departure for the airport. Benzene Townhouse for the bill: pretty no frills but a comfortable bed and a bathroom and near the city centre

Not the property’s fault but walls are really thin so i could hear someone snoring next door, was woken early by another resident talking loudly and slamming the door. Shared bathroom which isn’t a massive thing just would have been nice to have own space. Housekeepers did not check if the remote control for the tv was in the room, it was in fact missing however staff did all they could to rectify this. No curtains in rooms just blinds so it doesn’t block the light out in the morning.

Comfy beds, lovely fresh bedding, clean and tidy, staff were exceptional, really friendly and helpful and always smiling! Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits in room and reception area. So close to city centre and in between st davids and central train stations

Parking was a issue, the car park across the road isn't very big took a while to park up.

Lovely old building, the area was very good. We stayed in a king room , had everything we needed, tea and coffee set up was very lovely . Definitely would recommend

Good cheap location near the railway station and handy for the bus

The street outside can be noisy as it seems to be a student area - when people are coming back from the pub for example.

Check in was straightforward even though I arrived later after 21:30. The room I booked had an ensuite, and a kettle with tea and coffee and delicious biscuits. Nice hot shower, and plenty of towels. I liked the wardrobe in the room with proper coat hangers and drawers. Enough space for a week. The location is really handy for Exeter St. Davids railway station, and close to the number 4 bus route. At the end of the street is Devon Larder, which opens at 06:00 and is great for bacon sarnies etc.

Would have liked breakfast there but it wasn’t far to walk to the Wetherspoons who sorted us out very nicely.

Close to Exeter Central station, they were happy to hold our bags, whilst we checked out the University and kept them while we explored the following day. Plenty of tea and coffee. Room clean and tidy. Bed comfortable.

I really disliked such a late checkin and such an early checkout. It wasn't too clean, unfortunately. The sheets had a foul smell of sweat. The curtains let all the light through in the morning. No mirror on the toilet except for a tiny one.

it was very well located, the building was beautiful and the room was big.

Good value for money. Close to train station and central city. Tea coffee and milk are provided, which is always nice. Cozy and clean. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear neighbors pretty clearly. Overall a good spot.
