How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bathroom . Absolutely tiny. Claustrophobic.

It was ok for one night.

If you want The Hilton, book The Hilton (& pay for the privilege)
Breakfast?... Wasn't a corporate hotel - bang opposite King's Cross station for my train the next day - bit warm in the room at first, but could open the window, so no problem (not sure about actually standing on the balcony..). Staff great. Great price.

The hotel corridors were not lit so when I arrived - after midnight - I had to use my phone to make my way to the fourth floor and along a labyrinth of corridors. There is no logic to the progression of room numbers so giving visitors a piece of paper or message with the location of their room on might help them navigate more easily There was no breakfast, just a warren of rooms.
The fact that the hotel reception was open 24hrs per day is an excellent feature. The location is brilliant for getting to King's Cross, Euston Road and the British Library. The generous provision of coffee sachets and the kettle and washbasin in my room was a real blessing. Although the room itself was very sparse (lino floor and no carpet) the linen and washbasin were beautifully clean and the price is outstandingly reasonable.

Staff were amazing,really friendly. Location was convenient,literally across road from King's Cross Station,with 2 kids was ideal! Left our baggage behind after checking out. Rooms were clean and bedding. Kettle,tea bags,milk,sugar and small TV also there to usem Would definitely stay again!

Room—For an ensuite, it was good. I only wish they paid attention to the cleaning, like behind the doors due to cobwebs, the floor skirting, the bedsheets, and also the teacups and jug. It was easy to note that the room hadn't been cleaned for a while. The Internet was horrible, and I had to rely on my mobile data.

The layout was different to what id had before which was absolutely fine and worked well bar the extra door between the "entry" passage to the sleeping area. It was in the way in a small place and would he better to go without. She shower put me off using and needs updating but otherwise the room was great and appreciated the separate toilet to shower.
The staff are friendly and communication was great beforehand. Beds exceedingly comfy. And great full of the fan during the heatwave. Many compalain about the tubes being heard below, I wasn't ground floor but could still hear them so could imagine it'd be louder 2 floors below. Personally didn't bother me and just added to the quirks and history of the place. I'd stay again

For the price, it's great.
Basic but clean. Comfy bed. Shower works (tiny bathroom). A bit noisy. But super cheap and a stone's throw from Kings Cross and Euston if you need a sleepover in central London.

It was difficult to block out outdoor noise, but this is fairly normal in central London
Excellent value for money and the perfect location for our overnight stay ahead of catching an early train out of London. This hotel is clear a little tired in places but had everything we needed for the money spent. Thank you to the friendly staff.

The bedroom was below the hotel's entrance with poor lighting to access corridors or room.

Smaller than a prison cell... but when you go for a budget single room, you take your chances. Someone's bathroom extractor in an adjacent room sounded like a hoover being used in mine.and I could have sworn I heard the odd tube tain or two beneath the Hotel.

I was in the basement and could hear the trains. Also the toilet was a long way from my room.
