Difficult to find any faults with our stay other than the shower ran slow and the hot water wasn't very hot from the ensuite sink but wouldn't put us off from staying again.

Very good would definitely stay again.Central location but very quiet.

Shower screen in our bathroom was very large so small gap to get into shower if u was a plus size person u would of struggled getting in and out tight squeeze Towels could be bigger

The breakfast was amazing,fresh ingredients hot and well presented lots of choice Rooms were spacious and very clean great location 5 min walk in Bowness Bed were so comfy slept well owners/staff are amazing very friendly I would recommend we will be returning very soon

It was lovely, nothing to dislike.

Great location, a short walk to restaurants and many of the mapped walks. Lovely staff who looked after us and helped with all enquiries about getting around and walks. Breakfast was great too. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for two nights. The welcome was lovely, the owner very friendly and service was great. Breakfast was nicely cooked with good options and the room was comfortable and clean. Beechwood was also a great location, just a few minutes walk in to the main shop/restaurant area. We would book here again.

The owner was superbly welcoming. We had the 4 poster room which was spotless, very comfortable bed, excellent power shower. The breakfast was of a high standard, excellent quality and beautifully cooked. We had a lovely 2 night stay and will be returning.

Catherine was such a beautiful host, nothing was too much trouble. The whole place was clean, warm and cosy. My room was amazing. I had a 4 poster bed, the room was clean, warm and spotless. The complimentary drinks tray was well stocked for the whole stay. The bathroom had everything you could ever need. The breakfast was amazing. The guest house is literally a 5 minute walk from the town and is a little piece if heaven. I will be back and I will recommend to all my friends.

The moment we arrived we were greeted by Catherine who made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were spot on and we loved our stay. The little extras and attention to detail in our room showed a real personal touch. Would def recommend and will definitely return!

This is our third stay at Beechwood, it's like home from home. Catherine is the perfect host, friendly and welcoming and on the plus side the breakfast are just amazing !

Beautiful Victorian hotel in a perfect location. In the middle of Boweness on Windermere and Windermere. Easy access to all of the bars and restaurants and lake Windermere. This is a family run hotel,the family can't do enough for you. We were met by a lovely lady, she showed us a car parking space and she showed us to our room (I didn't get her name but I know she was the mum of the family) Catherine on breakfast duty was lovely and breakfast included in the price was excellent. Catherine offered extra toast and tea or coffee each morning. I had a good chat with Catherine after breakfast about the hotel and the passion she has for the family business is pretty evident. To sum up this is an excellent hotel and you want for nothing. We will be back.
