We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast varied and delicious. Quiet room at the top of the lovely large 1900s house. Decent sized twin with small en-suite. Kind hosts helped with luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. On-street parking was convenient, and only needed a permit (£3 from host) for a portion of the stay. Great location for us visiting the west side of the town and close-by bus stop to get further east for a trip to the pier and seaside.

We felt quickly at home at this place. The twin room we stayed in is spacious and full of light. The host is very friendly, accommodating and kind. Breakfast was as complete as we like. For us, the location not far from the start/end of the South Downs Way trail was fine. There are good pubs serving nice food within walking distance too. And walking to the railway station the next day was easy. Guests coming to walk to the Seven Sisters are at a good address. The host walks there regularly and can give tips if needed. The neighbourhood is quiet.
