Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Absolutely everything, the apartment was so modern, so fresh and very well looked after, had everything there that you needed! We brought our own tea and coffee as we didn't know it would all be there! We were so happy and did not expect it to be so well equipped for the price! Fresh bedding, fresh towels, washing up liquid, cleaning products. Super happy thank you to the host. Your apartment is beautiful.

United KingdomThe bins outside the property were over flowing and bin bags all piled up very high, and split open. I had to climb and walk on the bags to get to the key safe. It also smelt awful from the rotting rubbish. Very poor.

United KingdomLocation is slightly far from the city (around 30 mins walk to city/ Manchester Piccadilly) but only a 10 mins taxi drive away which isn’t too bad. It would have been great if there was parking available for guests.
The apartment was lovely! Comfortable beds and lovely hot showers. Good wardrobe space! The apartment was very clean and linen very clean! It smelled lovely in the apartment. The TV worked well and had Netflix on it. The kitchen had loads of amenities like a toaster, microwave, oven, fridge/ freezer, kettle (tea, sugar and coffee). Surprisingly very quiet considering it is next to a main road, we all had a great night sleep.

United KingdomMe and my friends were planning to stay here for a night while we went to a concert at O2 Victoria Warehouse. I was sceptical when I was charged a few days before the stay without any check in details but assumed all would be explained at reception upon arrival. However, there was no reception and the building appeared to be a student accomodation which you could only access via a key fob, which of course we did not have so I attempted to contact the property via phone call, email and message, however was ignored on all 3. Therefore, we had no way in to the flat, no room number or details and had to find somewhere else to stay. My friend then found somewhere else to stay as fast as he could as we were rushing to get to the gig. To our absolute disgust, the same thing happened again and upon further inspection of the property it was owned by the same owner located in Amsterdam with a different number, which we rang and once again got sent to voicemail. I then received a message after the concert finished to say the room had been double booked and we could not stay in it tonight so we were forced to stay in my friends uni accomodation. Fortunately, I believe I am going to be refunded for the stay, however this does not make up for the stress and concern of having nowhere to stay in Manchester as 4 young lads. I strongly recommend people do not book this property, despite it appearing good value for money on the photos as it is not worth the risk of what we had to experience. Edit: Just to clarify for anyone thinking the response I was given was true, I had reserved this property months in advance as I wanted to ensure I had a place to stay in Manchester, whether this was an issue with the owner or with booking.com I am not sure. However, this is still irrelevant to the point that there was 0 check in details given to me making it physically impossible for a self check in. On top of this, the response I was given was that the room was already occupied baffled me.

United KingdomCouldn't get into apartment as fob not working messaged the owner 4 times no reply left voicemail no reply waited for an hour on arriving and had to get another tenant in the building to let us in could not leave the apartment unattended all weekend as if we did could not get back In was told to leave ground floor door open to get back in but other tenants shut the door such ashame this ruined our stay one of us could not attend the concert we were going to fearing we would not be able to get back in

United KingdomWhen we arrived and went to get the key from the key lock we was met by a mountain of rubbish, no bins visible At 11:30pm we had no hot water to get a bath or shower, it was on earlier in the evening and then came back on in the morning
Close to the city- you can get on the tram at Exchange to Cornbrook and it’s a 2 mins walk to the apartment or catch the bus X50 which is over the road. The apartment is modern, brand new and clean, comfy beds with quality bedding and sheets, it’s feels safe as had fob entry to apartments and to access through the corridors Free Wi-Fi is an advantage Landlord was helpful, he let us drop out luggage off early
