Breakfast is from 8 am to 9.15 am, so quite restricted. Check-out at 10 is quite early.

Easy check-in. Room was fine, maybe a bit dark, but nice view and the bathroom was lovely with a lot of natural light. Choice of cooked meal for breakfast was great, next to the little buffet (cornflakes, coffee, juice etc.).

No marmalade for the toast! Pre cooked lasagne, let the meal down on the 2nd night! The rear grounds and car park is scheduled for a make over but that didn't detract from our visit.

The breakfast was OK but could do with more fruit to go along with the cereals. Evening meals were very good, except for the pre cooked lasagne on one night! The staff were excellent, Scott looked after everyone and Gabbi and her companion were excellent on the first night but the 2nd night bar and waitressing staff weren't up to their standard!

The breakfast both mornings was excellent. Staff very helpful and attentive. Evening meal was also very good and prepared very quickly. Bar prices were not expensive. Room was clean and tidy and comfortable.

We booked a king suite , but there was a mix up. We got a twin room then changed to a double suite with a double bed. The room was large enough for a king. So we were quite squashed up.The shower has no door so when showering the bathroom floods, dispite trying our best not to do so. We thought it was over priced..

The staff were friendly, the place has had a makeover which is really nice. The breakfast was very nice.

Not many negatives to our stay at all. However, my wife would have liked a fresh fruit cocktail selection for breakfast and my initial selection for a dinner starter was unfortunately sold out (but these things can happen).

The bedroom was exceptionally clean with good facilities. Beds were very comfortable. We had dinner and choose the Wednesday evening fish tea special which was tasty and very good value for money. (A lot of other folks seem to also think so since the restaurant was very busy). The cooked breakfast was also very good. A good size car park and outdoor beer garden was also used and appreciated.

Not warned abt stairs and needed help. Fushia not cut back so dangerous exit onto road. No lounge. Limited place to hang clothes. Twin beds rather narrow for other occupants.

Seemed to be having problems with their catering. Some items on the dinner menu were not available. Same with sourdough toast at breakfast. For what it was, I feel the accommodation was overpriced by about 20%.

Period hotel in a good location. Very comfortable bed and pillows and large shower en-suite. Very friendly helpful young lady at check in and serving in restaurant.

A group of golfers started moving beds about from 11pm until after midnight, slamming fire doors, etc. It's not the fault of the hotel in any way. The bed was far too soft.

Good location, nice room, great shower, and breakfast. Decent and well stocked bar, too. Staff were good. Although only two were on, covering reception, bar, and restaurant duties.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing, just a bog-standard vegetarian fry up. No thought put into it. For dinner/breakky the staff were slow to serve.

The room was spacious and comfy, with a great shower - spacious and powerful.
